By Car: Marlborough is around 4 hours to drive by car from Christchurch. Hire a car from the nearest car rental to you and head north of the South Island.
By Ferry: If you’re coming from Wellington, New Zealand, the easiest way to reach Marlborough is via ferry. Catch the inter-islander ferry from Wellington to Picton which is a short 25 minute drive from Blenheim, the heart of Marlborough. The journey should take around 3 hours.
By Air: The best airport to get to Marlborough would be Blenheim. There are multiple flights coming from Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.
By Train: Hop on the Coastal Pacific Train from Christchurch and enjoy a picturesque ride towards Marlborough.
