Sara “We were in winter, the house was warm and the view outstanding.”
Perfect for disconnecting (I quest is different in summer). Be prepared to drive as the nearby shop is a 10 min drive.

Jane “We loved the bach and that gorgeous view.”
We were a bit confused about the location of tracks to the beach - some info about this at the house would be useful. We hope to come back again
- Jane, January 2023Mike “A wonderful Bach in an incredibly beautiful location.”
- Mike, January 2023Jo “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
It was a warm and comfortable bach, in a beautiful bush setting with a gorgeous view.
- Jo, July 2022Maree “This is a lovely wee place - modern and clean with a very calm location.”
Precheck the price on bachcare when you're comparing your options as it was different than what was shown on the holidayhouses listing where we found the house and got the original quote from. The morning birdsong is lovely here and we really loved having two couches to relax on instead of chairs. We definitely recommend exploring the walkways down to the beaches below as you quickly enter some beautiful native forest.
- Maree, October 2021Benjamin “Excellent place for a stay!”
This is a quality bach in very good condition. The view is great. It is handy to Kaiteriteri, Marahau, and Split Apple Rock. The Bachcare Manager was helpful and friendly. We stayed in late April and the heating options were more than adequate. We are two adults and three children aged 8, 6, and 2 and they loved it.
- Benjamin, April 2021Abbey “Great little home, clean and tidy and wonderful views.”
- Abbey, April 2021Sara “Beautiful location, clean and comfortable.”
