“We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful property.”
It was super cleana nd very comfortable. Access to the beach was fantastic. The only minor hiccup was that the batteries in both remotes (TV and Heat Pump) needed changing, but that was really no drama!.

It's done up beautifully with all the small intricate touches that just made our stay so much more relaxed and homely. The facilities were excellent and love love love the bathrooms! what a luxurious feel! The views are immaculate and the access to the beach and city center is so convenient. This will forever be our weekend getaway! Thankyou <3

It definitely felt like a retreat. The place had all the necessities plus some lovely added touches like a beach trolley with chilly bags, chairs and towels you could take down to the beach if you wanted. It feels super new, massive bathroom with double sinks plus another double shower in the mudroom. It was a joy to stay here!

The property is beautifully appointed with very tasteful attention to detail. The bed is so comfy and there is a luxurious bath and bathroom. It had everything that we needed for a very comfortable and peaceful stay. The location is breathtakingly beautiful.

The bathroom is very stylish with a walk-in shower and a bath tub too. The view over the ocean is spectacular. I loved sitting on the deck in the sun with my morning coffee, hearing the sounds of the waves and the birds. Bliss.

The stay here, exceeded our expectations. Partner and I were in awe with the amount of love that has gone into this place. You can tell this special Whare is a labor of love from the owners. The décor of this space has been so well thought out. The owners were extremely accommodating and respectful. The set up had everything we needed, views from the main room were spectacular! Only a 2 min drive to the main town in Orewa, this place is very convenient. Highly recommend this beautiful place, very unique!

It was very private and facilities were superb . We were pleasantly surprised with the accomodations as the pictures do not do it justice. My husband was recovering from an illness and this place gave him time to recoup in tranquility. Would recomend to anyone who is looking to get away from the rat race of every day life Highly recommended Cathy and John Douglas.

The 3km long Orewa Beach is also perfect for long walks. Both beaches are stunning, very safe and ideal for swimming. Summer how it used to be! If you're an avid walker you'll love the many native bush walks nearby. If you're planning a trip out on the water, you'll be pleased to know there's boat parking available here, and the boat ramp at Hatfields Beach is just one-minute away - So don't forget to bring your boat (or kayak)!
