The house is in reasonably good shape but for the price I would expect a bit better. There is a serious leak in the gas fire. We had it on for about 5-10 minutes and both became light headed and I developed a headache. I noticed it had been mentioned by a previous tenant in the guest book. This is a serious issue. The decks off the lounge and bedroom both need to be sprayed with moss killer and/or water blasted, they are very slippery, again a dangerous situation. When we arrived our feet were ...

We had it on for about 5-10 minutes and both became light headed and I developed a headache. I noticed it had been mentioned by a previous tenant in the guest book. This is a serious issue. The decks off the lounge and bedroom both need to be sprayed with moss killer and/or water blasted, they are very slippery, again a dangerous situation. When we arrived our feet were sticking to both the kitchen and bathroom floors. I would suggest they had been mopped with detergent but not rinsed. We mopped them again ourselves with water and they were fine. The couches are very tired and not really comfortable to sit on. Finally, I was surprised there was no barbeque, in almost all the holiday homes we've stayed in (many, all over the country) that is a given. A little Weber on the back deck would be a worthwhile investment.
