HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone looking for a short stay. Regret not booking an extra day for us to fully enjoy the home as we were traveling from Auckland to Cape Reinga but will definitely do so next time! Thank you so much.

We had an easy time there. The kitchen was well set up. The kids liked the games room and the ability to have their own space. We felt well looked after by the owners next door.

The large detached games room allowed the older children to get outside even in the rain, and the wendy-house had lots of toys to keep the two little boys busy. The short walk to the treaty grounds and museums (and the start of the Haruru falls track) was great, but we had no problems making the daily walk into central Paihia either. It was great to have the use of the kayak, adding to the two we brought with us. There was a very handy Countdown within a km of the house, and the house itself was a bit like the Tardis--larger on the inside than it appeared from the outside. And it was in fact nice to have the property managers living just next door!

Spread across two levels, there's plenty of space for easy holiday living here. A fabulous deck and yard space call out for holidays in the sunshine, while a private lawn and gardens, complete with a playhouse, as the cherry on top. Indoor living here features a fully equipped kitchen for fuelling the troops, and the large lounge and dining area provide for easy family living. The rumpus room provides further space for the family to spill out, with a selection of board games and books having entertainment covered. This home also includes WiFi and a TV with Freeview and Chromecast. 4 bedrooms plus a rumpus room comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests here, with 2 full bathrooms and a large laundry with additional fridge and freezer space completing the setup for your stay. A generous double garage is also included which provides a place to store your kayaks, bikes or jet ski, and doubles as a games room with darts and table tennis provided. There is also ample off-street parking for your cars and boat, and for your convenience the property even offers a fish filleting area! Spend your days building sandcastles and dipping in the ocean down at Ti Beach, a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk away. Or why not hire some jet skis or kayaks and explore this beautiful part of New Zealand by sea. The popular Waitangi Mountain Bike Park is a 5-minute drive and if you are a boatie; you can see the ramp from your deck! Head to the Paihia Wharf for a cruise out to the Hole in the Rock, find your catch of the day game fishing, or for the adventure seekers, to try out the Xtreme Jet Boat. Before you head home, grab some supplies or fresh fish'n'chips in town. Everything is close here; supermarkets, cafes, bars, beaches and all of the local activities that the Bay of Islands has on offer.
