Jacquie “We felt very welcomed in your home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
We loved the view and how close it was to walk everywhere. The beds were very comfortable. It was a lovely warm and sunny home. It was perfect for our weekend away.

Rhonda “Stunning home with lovely views, even better than the images shown.”
It was great for two people, and we never used any of the rooms in the lower level, or the second bedroom. It has everything we could ever need including plenty of blankets, dishes, cookware, games, etc. Driveway is a bit scary at first (steep and narrow), but we were there a week, and it was easy by the end.
- Rhonda, March 2024Samantha “We had a lovely stay, thanks.”
Beautiful views, a short walk to the beach and cafe. Kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean. I wish I was there now.
- Samantha, January 2024Deryk “Great location and exactly what we were expecting”
- Deryk, October 2023Eva “This bach was the perfect place for our girlfriend weekend.”
It was cosy and warm, eclectic and colourful interior design and plenty of room for the five of us ( plus 1 baby). It's a great place for a rainy weekend, loads of books and magazines, comfy sofas with a zillion cushions and a spectacular view over Bream Bay. We wouldn't recommend it for families with small children, lots of treasures to be pulled out of cupboards, high balcony and it would be hard to keep an eye on them in the garden.
- Eva, May 2023Aj “Loved everything about our stay here.”
The most beautiful, fun and quirky home. It rained the whole time, but we were happy to stay indoors and soak up the beautiful surroundings. There was plenty for us to do- lots of books and boardgames for us to enjoy as a family. And the most wonderful view! The Waipu township was fun to explore. Great cafes and picked up a few goodies from the op shops. Will definitely recommend this house as a perfect little get away.
- Aj, April 2023Joan “What a beautiful property!”

- Kathryn, July 2021Lauren “Lovely home with gorgeous views.”
We were all nice and warm with slightly cooler April nights. Great spot for a family getaway, plenty of space.
- Lauren, April 2021Fleur “Well equipped and located house, in a generally quiet street.”
Close to the beach and any other attractions (caves, walks, larger city...) one might want on a holiday. The house is quite extensively decorated, which provides some of its charm but also gives opportunities for items to gather dust and makes it more difficult to clean the house. In addition it also provides risk for younger kids to break or misplace items. There is a great outdoor space with beautiful views and providing all the comforts one could want to have a relaxed holiday. We loved our stay and will be back! The 2 layers of the house are not connected but that posed no issue, it actually worked quite well and our son (7yo) whom made it into his little ‘kingdom’ ;)
- Fleur, January 2021Wayne “Awesome spot overlooking Waipu cove, with views all the way along the coast to Whangarei heads.”
Its just a short walk up the hill from the beach. The house is well maintained and decorated. The beds are comfortable and did I mention the views...! Perfect beach getaway for the family.
