    “Wonderfully well stocked, warm, homely, modern and clean.”

    The photos don’t do it justice! The views really are wonderful! The space is great and we loved all the extra amenities. It was great having everything from books, board games, to extra blankets, pillows and heaters (not that we needed them!). A great place to relax and unwind after a day at the snow, in a serenely quiet part of town, with glorious sunsets behind the snow capped mountains from the balcony.

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

Two storeys, four outdoor living spaces, and both mountain and lake views; Wanaka holiday homes don’t get much better than this! Welcome to Kings View! An ideal home for a large family, or even two families, on a Wanaka getaway, Kings View features two bedrooms on each level, and a spacious living area upstairs with views to get lost in! On the ground floor, a spacious room with it’s own private patio features a queen and a single bed, and another room is fitted with two single beds. A modern bathroom provides the conveniences on this lower level. Upstairs, the master bedroom enjoys stunning views and it’s own private toilet, and another room is fitted with bunk beds. Run a bath and soak those muscles in the luxurious upstairs bathroom. Modern and stylish furnishings in this gorgeous holiday home give the feeling of being in a mountain lodge. Leather couches surround the fireplace and TV, making this a great spot to get cosy together on those mid-year getaways. Relax with a glass of Central Otago Pinot Noir and a good book, or gather together for some good conversation or a movie night. On a summer holiday, you’ll likely spend most of your time enjoying the four different outdoor living spaces here at Kings View. Upstairs, open the sliding doors from the living room and find the perfect spot for your morning coffee with a view. Later, spark up the BBQ and whip up a few sides in the fully equipped kitchen; there’s a great outdoor table with bar seating waiting for you to dine at! Find shade and a tranquil green setting outdoors downstairs. The lovely patio off the downstairs bedroom has comfy couches to enjoy the mountain views from, or put up the umbrella at your second alfresco dining setting and tuck into sandwiches at lunchtime! If you can tear yourself away from this tranquil spot and its breathtaking views, there’s plenty to see and do within easy reach of Kings View. A short five-minute drive will have you in town with its lakefront shops and eateries, or if it's just some beach time for a picnic you’re after, you can walk to the lake from home in just 20 minutes. An adventure further afield could have you at Cardrona or Treble Cone in about 45-minutes, the wineries of Bannockburn in about the same time, and Queenstown via the Crown Range in just over an hour. Bring the family, bring your friends, you can even bring your small boat! Kings View is waiting for you!
