Jenny “We've stayed in a few baches in Queenstown in winter, but this has easily been the best.”
The whole house is warm (not just the lounge!), heaps of space, so perfect for a couple of families. Also lovely location, quiet and great views. Already booked it for next winter holidays.

Keith “Comfortable, clean property with great views.”
I was warm and roomy. However, we booked for 7 adults & 1 child - the bedding was not adequate for this. 3 queen or larger beds were fine but there was nothing adequate for a 7th adult. There was no soap for showers either - something we would expect in any accommodation - there were various bottles of hand wash at the sinks but not for showers. Otherwise the house was well equipped with books & games and the pantry held some basic essentials. Overall, we were happy with with the property and would stay again, but would check the bedding, especially.
- Keith, April 2024Tra Amy “A luxiurious house on the hill overlooking Lake Wakatipu.”
The best spot in the whole town in our view. 4 bedrooms each with its own ensuite. And a powder room upstairs for the living area. We had everything we needed for our stay. The view is magnificent! Would highly recommend to anyone.
- Tra Amy, September 2023Dana “We loved and enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Home.”
Very very spaced out and just the best views from all parts of this beautiful home. Would definitely recommend to everyone for sure! We will be back
- Dana, September 2023Carly “We loved our stay!”
Will be booking to stay again for our next visit. Such a lovely home! Thank you!
- Carly, July 2023Annette “Our stay here was amazing, The View is breathtaking.”
Everything was clean and in good condition. It was on a steep hill so we definitely did not walk to town but the Ubers were readily available take us around

We loved the house we felt the main bed was a little uncomfortable and would have liked access to the garage door We only had 1 from door key The blue bottle bin was full when we arrived and not emptied the whole week making it hard to diispose of our bottles Otherwise we definitely would rebook Thankyou
- Jane, February 2023Thank you for your feedback Jane, we are sorry to hear about the bin issues during your stay they are collected fortnightly so perhaps the reasoning behind it being full. This is not the standard we expect for our guests though and will be following this up with the local manager to ensure everything has been remedied and that future guests are not impacted. Bachcare
Melissa “Perfect accommodation, especially for larger groups.”
- Melissa, February 2023Ann “This was an amazing place to stay.”
The views were breathtaking. Lovely balcony. Equipped like someone’s home rather than a holiday house. We had so much space. Large bedrooms with comfy beds. The only down side was there was no air con which meant living space got hot during the day. Positives hugely outweighed this. We wanted to stay.
- Ann, December 2022Michael “Nice place.”
a little bit of work needed on some cabinets etc, but overall very clean and nice
- Michael, November 2022Thank you for your review, we're happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. We will pass along your feedback regarding the cabinets to the owner. Bachcare
RAYMOND “Beautiful location but 2 bedrooms had restricted views of the township and lake.”
Laundry area,, washing machine and dryer were very dirty, seemed had not been cleaned for months. Inside the house was very clean and the lounge/ dinning area had a magnificent view of the lake and mountains. If we ever visit Queenstown again, we would most certainly book this house.
- RAYMOND, September 2022Mark “Awesome place!”
Highly recommend
- Mark, August 2022Rachel “The house was perfect for our 2 families.”
There was plenty of space, it was very well-appointed and lovely to come back after skiing to a warm house and sauna. The only criticism was the service from Bachcare. An hour before check-in we received a call to say the house wouldn’t be ready until 5 pm (2 hours late). The rubbish bin was packed full (largely of nappies) and although being told they’d come back and sort this the following day, no one did. The waste disposal unit wasn’t working and we had to use the plunger regularly to unblock it. The phone number in the property guide was incorrect and Bachcare didn’t respond to our phone calls or emails. But house itself was great.
- Rachel, July 2022Andrew “Great location, beautiful spacious place, excellent Wifi.”
Would totally recommend the bach.
- Andrew, April 2022Emma “Absolutely amazing house, the photos don't do it justice.”
Rooms and beds were massive, loved having a bathroom each. Kitchen was well equipped with pantry basics and enough for a big group.
- Emma, July 2021Yvonne “Beautiful house”
- Yvonne, July 2021William “Need maintenance for spa bath.”
- William, April 2021Paul “House was perfect for our family group, its a shame the heating was not working when we arrived , my suggestion is ask for the heating to be on before well before you arrive as it takes a day to heat up and the only other form of heating is the open fire which will not heat down stairs, That said the house is well equipped and a lovely place to stay and will be happy to come back in the future.”
Highly recommend.

There are two outdoor areas - one a courtyard with BBQ to capture all day sun, and on the adjacent side of the home a balcony allows a great place to watch the sun. For those comforts of home, you'll love the underfloor heating throughout the home, an open wood-burning fireplace to snuggle up in front of at the end of the day, and WiFi to keep you connected and to post those great holiday snaps. For something extra special, there is sauna built into one of the bathrooms, ready to help tend to those sore bumps and bruises when you come down off the mountains.
