    “I did take king size sheets for the upstairs bed, however my fitted king size ...”

    I did take king size sheets for the upstairs bed, however my fitted king size sheet didn’t fit, I think you need two maybe make clear that flat king sheets are better, we did manage so all was good, pleasant stay, loved the outdoor area, would stay here again Regards Sheila

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Spread across two levels and boasting a well-equipped outdoor area, this Pauanui accommodation invites you to spend your days enjoying the ocean breeze, and dining alfresco on all your BBQ favourites as you watch the kids play on the large flat lawn. Start your day in the light and spacious kitchen, a perfect space to whip up a delicious big breakfast and sip on a mug of hot coffee from the Nespresso machine. The open-plan living and dining room creates a great social space to come together with your loved ones. Unwind on the comfortable couches as you unleash your competitive side playing one of the many available board games, or just kick back and watch a DVD on the Smart TV. For a great scenic view of Pauanui, test your endurance and climb to the top of Mount Pauanui, the walkway entrance is at the south end of the beach just 500m away. The south end is also perfect for surfing or exploring around the rocks or you can walk or drive down to the Pauanui Surf Club for a swim before venturing back home to rinse off under the hot outdoor shower. There is more than enough room to park your boat at Family Escape, and you’ll be able to launch at Royal Billy Point Park just six minutes' drive away. If you’re needing to top up on supplies, the Pauanui Shopping Village is a 3-minute drive or 14-minute walk away, where you’ll find a couple of great spots to eat and also a well-stocked mini-supermarket. Laid back summer living doesn’t get much better than this. Family Escape is waiting for you!

As there are sections of the deck with either fixed bench seats or no barrier at this property, all guests should take care when using this area and adults should closely supervise young children due to the risk of falls.

Guests should bring their own Nespresso compatible pods to make use of the available machine.

The pictured super king sized bed on the second level can be split to make two king single beds. Please inform us at time of booking which configuration you require.

About the location

Just over 2 hours from Auckland, Pauanui is one of the most popular holiday towns in the Coromandel. Pauanui enjoys white sand beaches with a surf life saving club and a number of walking tracks including the Mount Pauanui summit track, which will give you stunning views of the coastline and out to the Mercury Islands.
