Yuan Yuan “Beautiful cliffside bach!”
The view is amazing to wake up to everyday. This might be the most equipped kitchen we've ever seen: full range of herbs, regular -sized and super-sized pots and plates, they even provide rice, pasta, yeast and a bread making machine! Plenty of tidily chopped woods for the fireplace, easy to operate, just refer to the manual. The steaming function at the master bathroom is an added bonus! Very comfy beds and warm duvets. The whole house gets quite warm during the day due to full sun facing. Surprising to find two big drawers of toys in the bunk bedroom! Our kids enjoyed them a lot. Big credits to the upstairs and downstairs routers, good reception everywhere! The cleaning was ok, was a bit worried when we read some older reviews about the cleaning not being done, however, the vacuuming could've been more thorough, like lifting the beanbags and vacuuming under the tables and couches. The staircase is quite long and has big steps, babies and toddlers need to be closely supervised.

The only point is the extra charge that the bachcare charge which I have no idea what was that for? It is a too much.

The Pacific Ocean is entirely yours. The property is superbly maintained with everything you possibly need. There is quality throughout the property, everything from beds, linen, cutlery, plates, platters, glasses, pots and pans. Close to all amenities and the township of Tairua. Hard not to visit again without booking this property and highly recommended to others. The photos don't do it justice, an amazing experience. Thank you and see you again.

) with a fairly short but steep walking track down to Tairua beach. Nice modern house with good outdoor furniture including two sunloungers and two large electric awnings for shade if required. Expansive windows framing the view and a woodburning fire would make it great option even in the winter.

The house itself was fabulous. It was however let down significantly by a number of arrival issues. The word code lockbox was jammed so couldn’t get the key. Waited outside for 45 mins before a different lockbox could be used. On entry to property there was no linen on the beds, dirty towels on the floor and the property hadn’t been cleaned. Property manager came to house later on and made beds up and vacuumed but table was dirty and prev rubbish still in bin. Reading previous reviews this is not a new issue and I would’ve thought these issues should have been addressed by Bachcare by now.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were modern and comfortable (with the exception of the bathroom sliding door not closing and the sink not draining) and the living area was 5*. There were a few things to improve on for a house of this quality; it had not been thoroughly cleaned and there was thick dust on the skirting boards and even bedside tables, also the white bedspread had many dirty marks on it. In the kitchen there were no dishwasher tablets, barely any liquid or paper towels. It would also be nice to have a welcome booklet with wifi code, rubbish instructions, info of the general area etc. We did have a lovely stay though.

My only comment is the place could do with a good deep clean, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed when we arrived and some of the walls have stains on them e.g down stairway/lounge that look like they could just be wiped off.

But that's it. The cleanliness and condition of the place was in terrible condition. Was not clean or vacuumed. Dirty sheets and towels etc. Also, the house could do with more appliances especially when a family stays for longer period. Unfortunately, would not recommend to anyone who is particularly about cleanliness. Very Disappointing.

House could def do with a few extras to improve it . A bbq and outdoor table with some shade would be great so can cook and eat outside . Also bedrooms are quite hot in middle of summer , aircon would be a nice addition also .
