Ellen “Photos on the listing make it seem totally isolated - it is in fact at the end of a residential neighborhood.”
Beautiful lake front setting, very responsive management team with explanation after power company shut off the power. Fun tiny house experience! Corners and cracks could use a good spring cleaning. Overall, wonderful experience!

Marco “Great little place Absolute delight to have stayed at Te Anau Tiny House Lovely view and very cozy”
- Marco, March 2024Sidsel Pi “This is for sure a tiny house in paradise.”
Well equipped a the views - we could have stayed for a month and still enjoyed it every second. Only minus tbh are the sandling, but they are just part of Te Anau. So very high recommendations from the other side of the world! We did take, if we may say so ourself, a rather amazing picture og the house and the nature around it, including a rainbow ending in the house. We are happy to share it with the owner if he would like. Best Sidsel
- Sidsel Pi, November 2023Elizabeth “Thanks so much for sharing your creation with us.”
The amenities were so thoughtful and we looked forward to coming back to the cosy house each day. Amazing to have such a big shower in such a tiny home. The only thing we would say is that we had to clean a bit when we got in. With a cleaning fee of $110 we didn't expect to have to hoover up sand, and dust down counter tops and cobwebs. Nonetheless it was a very comfortable stay with absolutely fantastic views and we would definitely recommend it to friends.
- Elizabeth, December 2022Hi Elizabeth, thank you for providing your review. We have passed on your comments regarding the presentation of the property to the local manager. It is wonderful to hear that you had a great time regardless, enjoying the spectacular views in particular. We look forward to hosting you again. Bachcare
Chris “We loved the views and ambience of the house.”
However the cushioning in the lounge area is quite uncomfortable, I think a better custom made solution would be more suitable for the prices charged. My wife bemoaned the fact there wasn't a hairdryer available, however that wasn't an issue for me. These are only our opinions, not criticism of the property. Overall we enjoyed our time there.
- Chris, November 2022Michelle “Amazing place!”
And we think by far the better positioned property out of all on the lake front. Nice cosy tiny home, which is perfect for the romantic time away. All the amenities that your require. Will definitely be recommending to our friends, and might potentially be back ourselves!
- Michelle, October 2022Steve “Unique place to stay, stunning location with the most amazing view of the lakes and mountains.”
Highly recommend for a romantic weekend away for two. Accommodation is clean and tidy, with everything you need, including a guitar! Just awesome, and thanks, we loved it!
- Steve, September 2022Sally “Thanks so much for sharing your cosy little house with us.”
Perfect. Quiet and comfortable, everything we needed (except maybe a wooden spoon to stir my porridge with!) It all made for a great relaxing time
- Sally, August 2022Luc “Awesome spot.”
Clean, Comfy & great views. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a relaxed and quiet spot right on the waterfront.
- Luc, April 2022annette “The location is great.”
The property is pleasant however we did have an few issues that we have raised with Bach care and the owner. Hopefully these will be addressed and a better stay will be had by others.

As the property has direct access to the lake, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
Please note that due to the electrics of this tiny home, the number of appliances used at once will need to be monitored.
As there are fixed bench seats on a section of the deck, adults should closely supervise young children in this area to ensure they do not climb the deck barriers.
Please be aware that as this property is a tiny house, the bedroom is on a loft and has no door. There is also a living space in a loft on the opposite side of the house.
