“The house is a perfect kiwi batch, with 2 bedrooms and an additional unit with great view.”
It is well furnished and very well located. It's a bit small for more than a family as the living space is designed for the 2 bedroom batch. The outside deck/stairs are not secured for young kids. The price is a bit overwhelming considering the house size and level of service provided.

Anke “We had a lovely time.”
Great spot right by the water, we enjoyed the views and easy access for walls and swims. On the downside, it is a little tight for 7 people, less spacious than we had thought from the photos, small kitchen, and we agree with the previous comment about the posters being a little overpowering. We arrived at night and found there wasn’t enough linen for all of us, despite us having paid for the service, which was disappointing. People had assumed the 4 adults that accompanied the 3 kids were all couples, which wasn’t the case. This got rectified the next day. Thank you for having us. A wonderful address to spend time.

Great location right across the road from a nice safe beach and has awesome views. Place is very well appointed with plenty of kitchen supplies, games, DVDs and books. Sink under the house for cleaning fish is very useful. Really good BBQ for the summer cooking. Loads of parking. Nice easy walk into town. The Courthouse Cafe makes great coffee, sour dough bread and pastries. The local store is well stocked with everything you need. Museums are very interesting. Could do with cluster puffs on the mattresses and a 3rd sofa to replace the chairs would be great. WIFI would also be a welcome addition. Many thanks for a very enjoyable vacation.

The house is directly across the road from the beach, which taught us all more re the tides. My husband and I slept in the comfy trendy, sleep out with amazing views across the bay. Our friends slept in the house and it is very comfortable. Totally recommend people go on the trip out to Farewell Spit , a really fantastic few hours with knowledgeable commentary re the environment and habitat with our fun loving guide, sorry not 100% sure re her name . Inspirational person. Appreciate Bachcare Amanda’s clear liason with us, prior to our arrival. Totally recommend this fab place.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

First thing in the morning, imagine the stunning sunrises over the water as you sip your morning coffee out on the sundeck. Or in the evening a Golden Bay moonrise is worth a watch. With two bedrooms, plus a sleepout, this property sleeps up to seven guests with plenty of space for your group or family. Tidal Treasure offers the perfect location to help you take full advantage of what golden bay has to offer. With the beach on your doorstep, sunbathing, swimming and any water activities you have planned are only too easy. A year-round golf course is just a short drive away, as is the boat ramp if you're planning to get out on the water and catch something fresh for the BBQ. And if you're looking to get pampered, the Aroha Health Spa is a short walk down the road. For groceries and supplies, you're just a short five-minute walk from the Collingwood township where you'll also find cafes and restaurants. Visit Farewell Spit Safaris for a guided tour in the area, and head to the world-renowned Mussel Inn for great food and great music. For a day out, head to Wharariki Beach, one of Golden Bay's gems, with huge sand dunes, islands, caves and wild water. As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

Located just over a 20 minute drive from Takaka, Collingwood is a small coastal town close to many of the natural attractions found in the Golden Bay area. From here, take a day trip out to Farewell Spit, visit the Waikorupupu Springs, or tackle the Heaphy Track in the Kahurangi National Park. Collingwood is also near a handful of beautiful Golden Bay beaches for relaxing days by the sea.
