Mike “We had a wonderful stay but there is a bit of maintenance to do - I have provided a few comments to Bachcare to pass on.”
And I was disappointed that Bachcare didn't leave any information about the property for us e.g. that the lawns man came on a Wednesday and what day to put the rubbish out etc - I though they would have checked that in between guests. But overall a wonderful stay, thanks.

Close to the beach and other townships. Great size property for privacy and the fury friend. Plenty of games available for competitive fun. Unfortunately the backyard changed to a lake after the 1/2 day off rain. Dried out leftovers (take away) in the fridge gave the impression, no one checked or cleaned prior to our arrival. The outdoor cushions were left exposed to the weather and birds prior to us been there. All together, we did enjoy this lovely place and would return any time. Thank you and we would recommend it to others without any hesitation.

Simon “A lovely house in a great location but let down by poor attention to detail and ongoing renovations that were not advised to us.”
Specific issues included 1) incomplete bathroom renovations and lack of bathroom mirror, non functioning blinds in 2 of the bedrooms that were held on by Velcro, a BBQ in poor condition, and lack of Chux clothes and replacement bin liners. Although each of these are minor in them selves, we would not expect such issues given the amount we paid to stay in the property . More instructions about the house facilities would also have been useful.

We couldn’t fault the property and so fabulous that our two cavoodles could join us. Fully fenced and a short walk to the beach. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked. We will definitely return.

Great section and being able to take the dogs made it a wonderful break away. Our only request would be to provide a topper pad for the main bed to add a little comfort. Thankyou so much for allowing us to stay at your home and on such short notice.

Really felt like a home away from home experience rather that a bach experience. Loved the beautiful white sheets on the beds which made for a really comfy nights sleep. So close to the Otaki Beach. The owner and property manager were really helpful when I had a couple of questions around working the TV and the Oven . Will definitely come again. Suzanne

The lockbox code given was incorrect and I had to ring Bachcare to enquire. Turned out the property wasn't serviced at all due to a mixed up during a property manager change over. It was eventually cleaned and beds made etc. but after at least 2 hours delay, which was unacceptable given we were only allowed to check in after 3pm. Then the TV did not function properly, the owner of the property had to come and fix it the next morning. Not a good experience. The property though is in a good location, close to the beach and with large backyard, which would be good for pets and children to play.

Close to the beach and great shops close by. Lots of fun things to do with the kids at the bach as well as the local area. The house is lovely and clean. Perfect cosy bach to unwind and relax in.
