Venus “Great for large families.”
Disappointed by the cleanliness of the home. Cobwebs, dirty windows, filfy bbq etc. I asked for a refund due to the fact i spend hours sweeping cobwebs off the cottage & house, plus cleaning windows. River great for kids to swim. in (supervised). Spa a bonus.

- Jamila, December 2023Henriette “Everything was very clean.”
Loved the big space at the back and the nature. Kids played for hours. Thank you
- Henriette, October 2023Corlia “What an amazing time we had!”
We had our own, private botanical garden, with access to the river. Daily soaks in the spa pool - burgers on the grill - luxurious bedding and fully equipped kitchens; Smart TV, VCR player with amazing movie selection and mini sound system - we didn't NEED to go anywhere to have a great time.
- Corlia, October 2023Amy “Awesome property.”
Absolutely beautiful grounds and so warm and cosy inside. Would love another visit!
- Amy, August 2023Kathleen “We loved the place overall .”
But my mum had a nasty fall - she slipped getting out of the spa pool due to the deck being extremely slippy and no steps in or out of the pool . The children all slipped over and my self ( luckily without injury) we did call and inform bachcsre of this but I thought we might have had follow up. My mum actually had to go A&E for X-ray . It wasn’t broken but it as slightly dislocated sbd she had to travel back to the uk (36 hours ) in extreme pain
- Kathleen, June 2023We are so very sorry to hear of this and will be addressing this as a matter of urgency. Bachcare
Diane “We had a wonderful stay at the property, it was spacious and warm, with heaters in every room plus a lovely wood fire in the kitchen diner.”
The grounds are beautiful even in winter. Having a second kitchen area with fridge in the main house was a bonus. The cottage was bigger than I thought and very roomy allowing couples their own chill out space. We would definitely return

Ideal for couples, groups and families. Would be lovely in the warmer weather, but still enjoyed our winter stay. Plenty of space.
- Lauren, July 2022Michelle “Amazing house to stay in when you have extended family.”
Everyone had their own space to retreat to if needed. Easy access to the water which was needed on the hot days. The garden was spectacular. We will be back.
