Plenty of room and very private. The lake was a walk away it rained most our stay however the scenery view from the comfortable lounge was beautiful it was a favorite about this home for us. It's very close to supermarket airport,family game zone and the cave. Very homely feel and enjoyed every moment.

Unfortunately dishwasher was u/s with no warning (new one waiting in the garage) and lift wasn't working (would have helped one of our party and was advertised as being there). Ridiculous compulsory linen charge, which is quite excessive - we could have bought new linen from Briscoes for that. Also a compulsory cleaning charge was over the top, we felt very strange not leaving it immaculate after our stay, which we usually do. Both these items seem to be new Bachcare policy.

There will need to be some general maintenance of property. Had to clean the filters of the air con when we were there. We'll equipped kitchen and everything kitchen wise you could need. Views are amazing... Accessibility to the lake wonderful. Only thing is we would change is the ability to go out the front slider rather than the back door. We will be back. Great spot

Plenty of space and heating for our winter escape. booking was simple, with good information with easy entry.

Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely views and even enjoyed sleeping in the downstairs double bed. Only thing that was missing was some space to unpack our stuff. If we stayed any longer would have been great to have some cupboard space to unpack groceries

Property tidy and suitable for dogs as advertised. Stairs are VERY steep internally and externally, but we were warned about this. Would definitely stay here again.

! The beds were super comfortable, the location is excellent with great views and outdoor area, the backyard is amazing, the house was so homely, with great facilities. It was a bit odd that there was so much of the owners personal property left in the house - clothes in wardrobe/linen cupboards unlocked, shed accessible and tools left out etc (we weren’t sure what we were allowed to use/not use so didn’t touch anything!) but we had a wonderful week here and would definitely book again. It could’ve been a bit cleaner (we had to vacuum sand off the couch on arrival, and vacuum one bathroom floor due to bugs) but all in all we were happy! We love that it was pet friendly and how comfortable it was. Thank you for lending us your home.

The views, all the items provided in the house and to top it all the weather What more could you want. We had an issue with the stove but had personal visit and ph call from the property manager and owner No issue and no problem We will be back Wharewaka point. A great place to be

Could have possibly been a little cleaner, not sure benches and oven were wiped down, but honestly it didn't bother us too much, it had a lovely family bachy feel to it which we loved. Linen on bed and provision of towels was great. We loved that the upstairs shower/toilet opened up to the deck, the window from the kitchen to the deck, the awesome front big window and the stairs were a novelty for the kids. We also loved that we could bring our Lab too! Such a fantastic bonus to be dog friendly and secure for her!! Highly recommend, we would love to come back.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
