Fiona “We had a very relaxing stay at Beachy Bach, which had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday.”
The location is great - just a very short walk to the shops - and yet surprisingly quiet. Enjoyed sitting on the very comfortable window seat with glimpses out to the head.

Breathtaking surroundings and close to the shops with just a walk away. Short drive down to the beach and friendly neighbours. Would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

the pantry leaked all through our food ( skylight ) and there was quite a few exposed nails on a board out back by tree that went into my kids foot wasn't a great start to our trip but overall wasn't the worst weekend 5-10

The place is in desperate need of some TLC. The grounds were overgrown, the house smelt VERY musty and the mattress protectors and pillow protectors were grubby. The place needs a proper clean (not easy when it is is very old) but there were dead flies on the window sills and cobwebs in several places. There was no iron or ironing board as stated. Several light bulbs were blown. When you are paying very good money for a cleaner and a bach company to oversee the bookings you expect better than what we received. The ramp entering the house needs replacing as it is old and unsafe. The shower is meant for very small people only. A very disappointing stay.

Juliet “Ex-Wood family dwelling, quirkily retro (enamel stove/wetback + pull- up clothes line; claw-foot narrow, deep bath).”
Showing age externally but comfortable sleeping/ eating/entertainment facilities. Always a sheltered, sunny/ shady spot to be had on decks. 5 mins to Wood St shops/cafes, estuary, golf course, activity centre. Ideal for a family- or two small ones. No internet but eclectic library. Pet friendly with small contained yard for them.

There was no iron/ironing board like stated. Jug stopped working - rang Bachcare for replacement but never got one.

Hikiama “Good short stay, loved how close the town is to the house just a walk away.”
I will recommend you bring your own shower stuff, oil etc and a gas bottle (it was empty when we used it) The TV signal is not the best. Overall was decent accommodation and will recommend it for summer as the beach is near! First time using bach care and it wasn't that bad for the first time.

Quirky place but really cool old school batch feel. Loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. So many options to hide from the world. Front deck had sun all day. So close to the estuary and the shops (just a block to each) Perfect escape. We will come again.

Shower is tiny, photos ain't current and the stairs outside are a huge health and safety issues and they are completely unstable. The bach was dirty on arrival, lawns unmowed, and the lockbox did not match the code we were given. Very disappointed none of this was mentioned before arrival.

It was far more overgrown and unkept than the photos suggested, looked almost unrecognisable in places. The Bachcare experience was horrible although this has nothing to do with the owners/property. I would stay away from Bachcare if you can

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
