About the location

Just north of Auckland on the beautiful east coast is Pakiri Beach. Pakiri Beach is an unpopulated private white sand surf beach 15 km long on the Pacific Ocean. You will experience the splendid isolation and beauty of a southern pacific beach. The Haddon family, who are direct descendants of the great Ngatiwai Rangitira (Chief) Te Kiri, live and farm the coastal land that he once held dominion over. The vast white sands of Pakiri Beach stretch for miles on either side of Haddon's lovely beach home where the two day (horse) tour is based. Imagine the wind in your face, the sun on your skin and just the sound of hoof beats and the surf on the sand... The best of beach riding on an isolated 15 km long beach. Also you will find native bush and farm treks available to you. Rides from 1-2 hours or half and full days with horses to suit novice and advanced riders will fill your day perfectly. Pakiri Beach is only 1 1/2 hours from Auckland City. Friendly guides will cater to your every need and if horses aren't for you then how about a round of golf or sampling the delights of the local wineries. With nothing but the natural dune landscape and native flora this experience is not about the indoors, rather about getting closer to the outdoors!
