Fiona “A very quiet little house provided sufficient heating tools.”
Although bugs were found on the bed, it might be unavoidable in the countryside. The only drawback is that the hot and cold water taps in the washbasin are separate. The hot water is very scalding, and the cold water is freezing, so you need to mix them yourself before washing up.

Elaine “A superb place to relax and congregate with friends because this lovely cottage feels lived in and has real character.”
A cosy, welcoming and comfortable cottage with beautiful bird life and peace and quiet off the beaten track. Absolutely perfect for day hikes in National Park. We’ll be back!
- Elaine, January 2024Leeanne “Property is very quaint, and was nice a tidy upon arrival.”
Lovely rural location, far enough away from the main road, so very little traffic noise. Beds were not comfortable (very firm) and the pillows were very thin. The one time I did not bring a hairdryer, as all the accommodation places we stay at usually have one, and this place did not have a hairdryer. Only have the basic free channels on the tv, no access to streaming services.

Private location. The bath is nice and the kitchen is well supplied. Fireplace was ready to go even in summer - as an Aucklander it is COLD out here! All in all
