Nathan “Was a great stay and as advertised thank you.”
Was fantastic to have a safe space for the dog to run around outside, easy to load/unload the vehicle and the home was lovely, warm. It had everything we needed. The living area was a little tight for 3 adults and a teenager but it was as expected and worked OK. Thank you also for the lovely jar of plums -yum!

Adele “Everything excellent apart from beds - serious roll together.”
Need replacing.
- Adele, March 2024Sue “This was our 3rd stay at Plum Cottage and once again we we really enjoyed it.”
The attention to detail in the house is fantastic and its the cleanest Bach care place we have ever stayed in. The kitchen is a cooks dream as it has anything and everything you need. The section is a pretty garden and safe and secure for our wee dog as well. We also appreciate the fact that we don't need to cart linen and towels.
- Sue, February 2024Taylor “Beautiful home with everything thought of.”
Located close to the township, this was a great place to stay as we had to make daily trips to town and Tokaanu thermals (7mins away). At face it doesn't seem like much, but everything was thought of, things we didn't know we'd need, it was awesome. The cosy rooms would benefit from a home ventilation system, as the air-conditioning didn't come down the end of the house. Or maybe insect screens over windows so windows can be left open without insects coming in. And maybe switching the higher bed to the bigger room as it made the room its in seem smaller and most definitely warmer on the humid nights. We enjoyed the outdoor dining option, views of the mountains and beautiful garden. The car park space was great and would be good for those with little kids who want to ride their bikes or scooters, as it's a fully fenced section. Overall, we were happy to have found this place.
- Taylor, January 2024Malcolm “Lovely house thanks with great outdoor areas.”
This was our second visit. Fully fenced section with gate was ideal for our two small dogs.
- Malcolm, December 2023Gabrielle “Stunning, warm and fully kitted out holiday house.”
The air fryer and crockpot were a bonus for our family of four.
- Gabrielle, July 2023Sue “Second time we have stayed here and it was great again.”
This property is one of the best we have ever used. Kitchen is great and the standard of cleanliness the best we have come across. Warm and comfortable in a cold wintery Turangi. Highly recommend plum tree cottage.
- Sue, July 2023Matt “Nicely presented property.”
Great indoor/outdoor living. Nice and cozy. Secure escape proof fencing for our two pups. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in the future.

- Lee, December 2022Sue “This was a great little property for a long weekend.”
The kitchen had everything you need and more. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom functional. The fully fenced section with good boat parking was just what we needed. We will definitely be back.
- Sue, October 2022We “Lovely place to stay.”
Close to the reserve for a nice walk amongst nature. Fully fenced which is great for the pets. Comfy beds. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Also nice and warm and cosy for those colder nights. Would recommend for anyone wanting to relax and unwind.
