    “Loved the property, everything set up fabulously for us.”

    Very appreciative. Beds are super comfortable. Spa pool amazing. Loved that there were ample crockery, glasses, utensils, pots and pans. We could not work the oven because the temperature dial turned around but did not activate heat. The fan of the oven worked, but that was it. The dryer button could not activate to dry clothes. So that may need to be tended to. We came to your property because our youngest daughter was celebrating her 21st by having us staying together (6) - her older ...

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Put your feet up by the toasty fire on a chilly winters’ evening, and maximise on family time with a movie night in front of the TV with Freeview. Take your living outdoors, where the large deck space invites you to sit & enjoy a crisp wine, paired with a delicious cheeseboard or relax in the spa and watch the sun set next to Mt Ruapehu all year round. A fully equipped kitchen will set you up well for your stay. Imagine coming home after a day shredding the slopes and whipping up a feast for the troops with ease. With options to dine alfresco or indoors, you're in for an absolute treat here! This Alpine Retreat offers three bedrooms that can comfortably sleep up to six guests. Two modern bathrooms, a full laundry and a drying room complete the set up for a fuss-free stay. There's a lockable storage shed to keep your gear dry overnight, and when it comes time to hit the slopes, Turoa is only 24-minute drive away, and Whakapapa a slightly further 47-minute drive. If you're keen to do something a bit closer to home, the Ohakune Carrot Park is only a two-minute drive away from home, and the Vertigo Adventure Centre is only three minutes away by car. Alpine Retreat also has a large, lockable shed available to store your bikes, skis and other sporting equipment. The local cafés and restaurants are only a 14-minute walk, or 3-minute drive away for those evenings where you’d rather unwind without the hassle of preparing your own meal. As there are fixed bench seats on a section of the deck, adults should closely supervise young children in this area to ensure they do not climb the deck barrier.

The two king single beds in bedroom one can be joined together to make a California king bed. Please inform us at time of booking which configuration you require.

Ohakune is the ski capital for the North Island and your gateway to all the iconic features of the Ruapehu region.
