    “We had a great stay, overall as the house is well appointed, warm and large, but there were a few hiccups that caused stress/time wasting.”

    1. The key to the spa was not in the house when we arrived. We spent ages looking for it and were disappointed that we couldn’t use the spa for our first night. 2. Also, Spa was not prepared in time for our arrival, when we finally got it open late the first night it was still very cold and chloriney - no advance notice was given that this would/might be the case. 3. Damage to the property was not advised by Bachcare in advance (which the manager said should have been) 4. The linens, ...

Damage to the property was not advised by Bachcare in advance (which the manager said should have been) 4. The linens, bathrooms and kitchens were clean, but the floors, walls and couches were sticky with drinks spills and dirt under cushions. Clearly there has been a bit of a party previously and not given a deep clean as would have been required. 5. The house has gas hot water which is great, but no advice or helpful info was given re the capacity of the gas to service heating and hot water for showers. We spent a while trying to figure out why some of us were having showers turn freezing cold. 6. No dishwashing liquid, no scrubbing brush or cloths to wipe kitchen surfaces. Only a manky sponge. Also not enough toilet paper to last 10 people for the stay (if this is not provided, should be advised so we could buy it in our preparation for stay) The property manager was very responsive and as helpful as possible. I would probably stay here again, but I would hope that the preparation of the property would be to a much higher standard.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
