Well appointed, handy to the beach, protected from the coastal wind, the open layout makes it feel very spacious. I could live there.

Called host number and their emergency number around 10pm, multiple times, didn't get any answers. The next morning around 8.30am we got an apology from the manager, but no sheets or towels till mid-day. Given how remote the place is, it's not like we could just get an alternative accommodation (or linen & towels easily). Luckily the Expedia Customer Service team managed to help us, but as far as Bachcare goes I'd never book with them again - if I know it's them that is....

The house was clean and tidy and in a good location just across the road from beach. The only thing missing was WIFI. Cellular cover was also hit and miss. If the home had WIFI we would have rated it as excellent

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Right across the road from Kuaotunu Beach, its stunning blue waters and the giant Magnolia tree in the front yard setting the ideal backdrop to a great escape - Welcome to Magnolia Cottage. If being across the road from the most photographed portion of Kuaotunu Beach wasn't enough, the famous Luke's Kitchen is a short stroll along the beach to the right and the boat ramp just 300m to the left. A playground and tennis court are less than a 5-minute walk along the road towards Kuaotunu Settlement, a busy little tourist spot during the summer months, which has a lovely indoor/outdoor cafe, a grocery store and is home to Kuaotunu Killer Icecreams. The reserve across the road from the settlement is a great spot for families to play and picnic. For day trips, you'll be just 20-minutes drive from Whitianga township and within an hour’s drive, you’ll be able to get to places like Hahei, Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. Travelling in the opposite direction, find the quaint little town of Coromandel, with Matarangi and Whangapoua nearby and don’t forget to check out the magical and secluded New Chums beach! About the location
Just a 20 minute drive from Whitianga, Kuaotunu is a stunning beachside town with a history in gold mining. The sheltered bay makes for safe swimming off the beach, and other activities include kayaking, horse trekking and bush walks. Staying in Kuaotunu also puts you at a great position for day trips around the Coromandel, such as visiting the famous Hot Water Beach.
