    “We were very pleased with the property and the condition in which it was provided.”

    It was as advertised and is very modern and comfortable. It has a big back yard and great indoor/outdoor flow, making it easy to have a relaxing break and we enjoyed our time there. We have no negative comments at all. Having a kererū roosting in the palm tree at the back made it even more special as well as occasional visits by peacocks!!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

When you get home from a day on the beach, rinse off any sand and sea water under the outdoor shower! Sleeping up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, A Slice of Summer is an excellent place for the whole family to settle into and find their own space to unwind and enjoy their holiday. Your stay will be made all that much better by the location, just a 3-minute walk from the beautiful Whangapoua Beach. If you don't feel like cooking or cleaning up, try 'Oh Boy Tacos' at New Chums car park or Luke's Kitchen in Kuaotunu, the closest restaurant and is a must-try. There is a Four Square located in Coromandel town over the hill, which has you covered for supplies! A slice of lemon in your drink to refresh you and A Slice of Summer to host your stay!

Located 35 minutes from Whitianga, Whangapoua is a classic Coromandel beachside holiday town. The long stretch of white sand and emerald waters make it a favourite destination for a relaxed getaway. Spend the day swimming, fishing, walking or just unwinding at your holiday home. A good walk to do is the 1 hour track from the northern end of Whangapoua Beach along to the stunning New Chums Beach.
