Diane “This is a neat bach for dry summer.”
The location is great, excellent long walks on the beach and some surf casting. But we had some rain and moving from the living to the sleeping one can get wet, and with a northerly rain the ranchsliders can't be left open, someone forgot to put the bbq out and we had planned our meals around it. Did we still enjoy our holiday yes and thank you.

We loved the size....just right for the two of us. Great showers, inside and out and close to everything. A great spot to get away from the maddening crowd and one of the best swimming beaches on the Coromandel but close enough to pop over the hill to Coromandel township or south to Whitianga. Great base to explore the delights of the eastern beaches like Kennedy Bay, Otama, Opito, Matapuau Bay etc. Give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Ideal for a couple with a small family or pet, although the section is not fully fenced, but this wasn't an issue for us.

While dog friendly which is great, is not dog safe being close to the main road and open onto other properties nearby. This is usually not a problem, but there were a lot of rabbits around!!.

The bach was compact but had everything you would need for a short stay. Very comfortable bed. Easy access to the beautiful beach and although not swimming weather was great for walking on and then over to New Chums.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
The Little Bach at Whangapoua is a gorgeous, modern bach located just a 3-minute walk from the beautiful Whangapoua Beach. Whether you are two couples or a family - we have your ultimate holiday set up waiting for you! This holiday home is made up of two separate buildings that are joined with a large deck. The west wing consists of the master bedroom, second bedroom, bathroom and laundry. The east wing includes the lounge, kitchen/dining and second bathroom. On arrival, you’ll be wowed by the sun-drenched deck, which is perfect for your morning coffee right through to your last drink as the sun goes down. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a comfy Acapulco chair which is a perfect spot to snuggle up and read your book or peruse through your favourite magazine. The second bedroom screams versatility and can be prepared for 2 single beds or 1 super king bed - we can even arrange for an additional stretcher bed for this room too. The open plan dining area is set with a beautifully designed minimalist kitchen with everything you need at your fingertips. Similarly the lounge has everything you need along with Netflix and Disney Plus too. All rooms have stacking doors opening out onto the deck. The private outdoor shower is perfect for when you come home from the beach, with white stone and shell flooring, as well as a cedar privacy screen, you'll be sure to love the privacy and comfort! The Whangapoua Store has everything you need for your stay, however if you are wanting something a little more, Coromandel has a fantastic Four Square. Luke's Kitchen in Kuaotunu is the closest restaurant and is renown as a must-visit in the area! With New Chums Beach a 30 minute fun hike and the stunning sheltered bays of Opera Point, The Little Bach at Whangapoua is your perfect holiday home.
