“We were very happy with the house.”

It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Heaps of linen and towels for everyone. All of the appliances were working. It was nice to have the lift for taking heavy groceries up to the second level. We also requested to use a bbq and this was onsite for us and ready to go. A couple of things to note for future guests - the queen beds upstairs are very hard mattresses and not very comfortable. One of them really needs a mattress topper. A couple of things to note for future guests - the queen beds upstairs are very hard mattresses and not very comfortable. One of them really needs a mattress topper. The emailed oven instructions are completely wrong, I'm guessing the oven has been replaced and the instructions not updated. There is a switch on the wall by the light switches that powers the oven. Otherwise it will not work. We figured that out eventually. There is no instruction book for the house. Like how to operate lift etc. We figured that out too, just hold your finger on the lift button and keep it there whilst it moves and the lift will operate.

“Lovely place with great rooms an layout, however showers were held together by hair ties, Windows were broken, missing cutlery, bowls and plates downstairs had to get them from up stairs.”

Down stairs tv wouldnt work was able to start using it but then would go fuzzy unable to do anything further. Pots and pans were dirty, no tea or coffee provided like all standard places do. Loved the outdoor area and great seating options for multiple people.

“We had a nice stay at the property and there was room for us all.”

We enjoyed the beach and the township. There were a couple of maintenance items: air con external unit rattled a lot so had to be turned off at night, wall mounted fans didn’t go & the stove instructions out of date - there is no red button to get it to go. Stove looks new but burns yellow flame as has jets for natural gas not lpg.

“Although advertised as a six bedroom property, it really is not fit for this purpose as the tables are too small and chairs inappropriate for seating that number of people together.”

We booked this for a family get-together as we needed accommodation for 11. The separation of the top and the bottom makes it extremely difficult for a whole family group to eat together. The rooms were clean and functional, but there were several issues identified in previous reviews that made our stay far more stressful than it should, or would have been, if they have been fixed. The oven does not work. There’s an electrical fault in one of the bedroom lamps. The outside light doesn’t work. The downstairs TV does not Work, probably because the remote is not working. The only route to the upstairs of the property where the main kitchen is has a series of steps two of these are falling apart. We realised on the first day that the oven was not functioning and were an unable to prepare the food we had planned. We made urgent calls to Bachcare, but no resolution was found until the agent came to clean a barbecue on Wednesday evening We realised on the first day that the oven was not functioning and were a unable to prepare the food we had planned to cook. “Not a good holiday home.”

no cooking facilities - oven doesn't work, stove just working (badly) and no BBQ (its locked up in the shed) this is 6 bedroom house with no cooking facilities Oven splash back is broken, glass just sticking out Half of lights didn't work, need to change a few light bulbs no connection between first floor and second flour, lift doesn't work. Which makes a very long walk around to get downstairs to upstairs. It was very hard with young children No house information when you arrive, we have spent few hours trying to work out Wifi password! House needs a very good clean Wouldn't recommend this place for a weekend away

We have looked into the issues you raised and can confirm that the oven and stove do work. The stove is a gas stove and the owner has had someone come and check it and all functions well. The oven splash, is in the process of to getting sorted. We are looking into the lift issue and getting this repaired. Please note, there is not BBQ mentioned on the listing for guest use. Regarding the Wi-Fi, the code is provided in the welcome booklet at the property, however if any issues please call Bachcare's 0800 number and we can assist with this information. Bachcare

Luckily it is in a spot where it did not disturb sleeping. Overall, we found the bedding comfortable, the whole property clean and tidy, so a perfect place for a large family!

“We were unable to get oven working, would turn on but not heat up.”

Stove had to be manually lit and was unaware of this. lift didn't work as needed a key Wifi password didn't work, contacted bach care and they said they would get back to us, still no answer spent weekend with no wifi. apart from those everything else was good
