Cute, compact, quirky, close to the local surf beaches and surrounded by native bush and bird, this two-bedroom holiday studio is just what you need for a small family or couples' getaway. Welcome to 39 North! Step through the door and be welcomed into the cosy living space, with a toasty wood-burning fireplace place on hand for the colder months. A comfy leather couch is wanting for you to nestle in after your long day of adventures, with a TV, DVD player and great selection of DVD’s and books, ensuring everyone is entertained. Whip up some sides in the well-equipped kitchen, spark up the BBQ with your Kiwi favourites, then dine alfresco long into the summer evening. Now you’re on holiday! Two unique bedrooms here at 39 North comfortably sleep up to four guests. With a bathroom and laundry completing the set up for your stay. There is plenty of room to park your boat, you’re just five minutes away from the closest boat ramp. Head out to find your fresh catch of the day, or head out to the famous Poor Knights Islands to discover the idyllic scenery and sea life. Pack your beach bag and walk just five minutes to the beach for a day in the surf and sun or put on your walking shoes and hike the Tutukaka Lighthouse Walkway. If you are feeling like dining out, try out the Schnappa Rock Restaurant and Bar and Marina Pizza, or the Tutukaka General Store are all just five minutes away by car. For an escape filled with relaxation and adventure, 39 North awaits!

Bedroom 1 is shared with the kitchen and living room at this property, while bedroom 2 is shared with the dining room. Bathroom access from bedroom 2 is via either bedroom 1, or the covered patio.

The single beds in bedroom 2 can be joined to make a king sized bed. Please inform us at time of booking which configuration you require.

Please be aware this property does not have a full kitchen. A kitchenette with fridge/freezer, mini electric oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and electric stovetop and frypan are available for use during your stay, as is a BBQ.

The Tutukaka coast incorporates Matapouri, Whale Bay, Sandy Bay and Ngunguru. These beautiful white sandy beaches are popular holiday spots for families. Tutukaka is the base for trips leaving for the Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve, and the Whangarei Deep Sea Angler's Club at Tutukaka holds a number of world records for offshore game fishing catches.
