“Stayed for 5 nights, Sunday pm to Friday am in late March.”
Host Donna was on site to meet us and showed us around, very welcoming and friendly. Everything was very clean and good, the kitchen cupboards were full of everything you might need and more, there's a BBQ too with outside table and chairs. We had the windows and beautiful French doors open and so invited local vampires (mozzies) in, my bad. However, spray and plug in "go away bugs" were provided (thank you). Large TV &
movies provided with nice sound bar (sorry to any other neighbours) as its a very quiet place. Lots of room for 2-4 cars on the drive and a very big (well looked after, as per the inside) grassed area.
The Ad is wrong about the beach! its less than 200m away and its beautiful and calm. Great for families and it has a boat ramp (but nobody seems to know about it). You could walk the 1km to Tutukaka, a bit hilly though, don't. Whangarei only 26km and Paihia 90km or 1.20 hours up the road. If you want to make it to a 10am boat trip its an 8am start, so very easy and can do. The Bach is perceptively & perfectly placed in a planned piece of paradise. I made some great Dad & Son memories with my 18 Year old. Well done Donna & Richard a perfect spot. If I win lotto I might become a neighbour. Thank you for our 5 star plus break-away.
