Quite a few internal stairs so make sure your able to navigate these before booking! Heaps of room, nice and tidy and nice and close to town. The oven door needs a tighten as we had to weight it so the heat wouldn't escape. All up though a great stay

This is just feedback as I don't think you could have done anything unless you knew more about our objectives. My group came from the Australian Open tennis in Melbourne and after a day of wine research we expect to cook our meals and continue watching the tennis but on TV. Unfortunately, NZ don't cover the Aussie Open so we needed to pivot which is where our suggestion for you comes. We couldn't download any apps or access to channel 9 in Oz who own the rights to the Open. We tried everything, even the Chromecast from the gaming set but the TV doesn't allow for us to connect wirelessly with it. I think there is a password that needs to be shared so guests can in fact access the smart TV wirelessly. We watched the tennis but on my laptop which wasn't optimal but did the trick. Because we do a lot of cooking, the stove burner shorting out was a handicap albeit the maintenance response was stellar. The feedback here is that the hob and the oven are very old and need replacing. FYI, the oven door does not close fully and the time to heat up is extensive. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We all loved our stay until we took the pillows out of their cases , mine had a footprint on it (yuck) my sisters pillow was ripped , we like to help out & strip the beds as have worked in the industry, pillows need attention, also family wanted to use the electric blanket in the middle room, unfortunately couldn’t get to the plug to plug in because of the headboard, this needs looking at too Would definitely use again had a super time at a lovely place

Robert “Great house with good facilities.”
Comfortable and warm in Winter. Great views. Myself and extended family all enjoyed staying there. It wasn’t clear that there were three flights of stairs in the split level, with a couple people with bad knees, we just managed it. Wrong key code given for arrival for the key box, we needed to phone Bachcare. Interior is showing its age with scratches and marks and could do with a do over. Overall though, very good and we all enjoyed ourselves. Rob and Lynn and family.

- Ryan, July 2023Angela “Great property but was incorrectly advertised - one of the 5 rooms shown in the photos was the same room at a different angle showing a double bed, when I actual fact the fifth room was actually a tiny room with only a set of bunks in it which was no good for our group so one couple had to find accomodation elsewhere and bachcare won’t refund the price of their share of the accommodation.”
The listing also stated there were 5 double beds in each room

Kylie “Absolutely stunning views.”
Fantastic property and indoor space for housing a larger group of people on holiday. Everything was clean and tidy, and very comfortable. So close to town, around $10/uber ride. So nice and quiet during the night and early mornings. As with most of the properties it was a little steep for us with 2 older health impared parents that did struggle a little with the steep driveway and 4 flights of stairs within the house. Also there was a few things that had been left in cupboards and pantry which probably should of been cleaned out before us as next guests arrived. Having said this, i would definately recommend this property and would book again

Slightly outdated and oven door would leak heat slightly. Main issue was we stayed for 12 nights, and payed for two lots of linen charges (after being told that the linen would be replaced after 7 days), yet no towels were replaced and the new linens were simply left outside of the front door. It would have been nice after spending an additional $400 on linen charges to have had towels replaced and bedding remade after 7 days.

Booking and liaising with the owner was simple (which was great considering it was a stressful time for us to rebook accomodation at such short notice) and he made sure everything was okay while we were there. Everything was super clean, super tidy and we definitely would come back again.

Tanique “The property exceeded our expectations with clean facilities and the most amazing view.”
Great location with views of the mountains, lake and even airport runway which showcases the planes landing which was quite cool to see.

Lots of space, loved the dining table where we could easily gather round. The views were stunning. The heaters had been turned on before we arrived, a thoughtful touch on a cold day. The bunk bed in the 5th bedroom was a suprise, no where was that mentioned.
