Joshua
“The house itself was great for our stay, and the location was great.”
However, we were disappointed with the management. We were told that we had to check in late as the house was not ready due to previous guests checking out late. There was no compensation of any kind offered for the inconvenience.
When we arrived the house smelled of cooked meat, and did so for 4 or so days. Many dishes that had also not been cleaned and put away dirty - there was cooked meat stuck to the pans. There was no hand soap, washing liquid, or toilet paper resulting in having to buy our own toilet paper and someone coming to replace these items a few days into our stay. We were also only given 5 bath towels despite there being 7 of us and the house sleeping 8.

Thank you for reviewing your recent stay, Joshua.
We apologise that the property was not prepared adequately or in time for your stay. There can be cases where back-to-back bookings make the standard cleaning process hard to follow, however your experience is definitely below our standard.
We have discussed this feedback with our local team, who will ensure this is addressed before future bookings.
Even with these issues affecting your stay, we hope you were still able to relax on your holiday spent in Queenstown. Thanks again.
