Andy “Great stay, nice property, easy location, great family time.”
- Andy, September 2024 -
Daniel “This place was better than expected - it was a fun and comfortable place to stay.”
It was also larger than it appeared on the photos. Overall we were very happy with it. A couple of minor things that detracted a little. 1. Although there is a fireplace upon arrival the house instructions informed us that we were unable to light it without purchasing an optional fire started pack - this was not apparent from the bachcare listing. 2. The spa pool was apparently not allowed to be used between the hours or 10pm and 7am due to potential to disrupt neighbours. It would be more reasonable to ask guests to avoid excessive noise if using the spa after 10pm.
- Daniel, July 2024Thank you for your feedback. I apologise for the inconvenience caused by the lack of fire starters; we’re addressing this issue to ensure future guests have everything they need. I also understand your concerns about the timing for the spa pool. We’ll update the wording in our welcome pack to provide clearer instructions for future guests. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Bachcare
Aaron “Beautiful location and wonderful property.”
We loved it.
- Aaron, May 2024Lynn “As a group of six friends we came to Ohakune to ride the local bike trails.”
The Kaho was an excellent choice. We especially loved the layout which provides privacy for each bedroom, with two gorgeous bathrooms with underfloor heating. We had 1deg frosty mornings but the heatpump kept us very warm and cosy. Soaking in the spa pool looking up at Mt Ruapehu was a fantastic way to finish the day. A beautiful property. We will be back!
