Ezra “First arrival, Got in property all goods.”
Was alittle weird with the amount of cameras on the property. Went to use the spa pool and it was absolutely filthy. Had to jump in with a dish brush and scrub the thing out. Then the spa wouldn’t turn on, did a cable run and found the plug in the outdoor socket. Also no dryer on site.

Megan “The place could use a decent clean.”
The mold and dead flies and insects stuck in the grooves of the sliding door was disgusting. We paid a cleaning fee and ended up needing to come clean off mould and scrap dead flies. Had to buy so many detergents
- Megan, December 2022We are sorry to hear that you ended up having to do some cleaning during your stay Megan - this is certainly not the experience we would have hoped for you. This will be addressed! Bachcare
KERI “This was a very comfortable stay.”
Outside area is lovely and natural, would be beautiful in the summer! Was nice to have a view of the mountain from living room and main bedroom. We all enjoyed the spa too!
- KERI, June 2022David “Awesome little bach - we loved the cosy fireplace and the outdoor bath and as really great.”
Huge grounds with a stream running by was a nice touch. Everything inside was nice too (kitchen, bedroom, etc)
- David, May 2022Andrew “Lovely place to stay.”
Heating with the wood fire and heat transfer system is excellent. Conveniently located within walking distance of all amenities - New world, coffee cart and takeaways. But the native reserve setting and creek in backyard makes it feel like you are deeper in the bush. Spa was a delight. Good range of gear in kitchen, and board games etc. Comfortable living area, and practical bedding options for a family. Lots of outdoor living options too (decks on 3 sides, 2 covered areas, plus separate bbq area and grassy areas). Really had everything we were looking for. Looking forward to our next visit.
- Andrew, April 2022Leigh “Thank you for sharing your Happy Place with us :) Lovely quite home that felt like we were in Beech forest out the back with stunning views of the mountain out the front.”
The sound of the stream running along the boundary was so restful. Nice short walk to town for essentials when needed. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the Spa Bath but I was reluctant to use more due to the resident wasps - hazard of the lovely Beech trees.
- Leigh, March 2022John “A well equipped house that is close to town.”
We appreciated the warm, dry house, with log burner. It has decent kitchen, spa, lots of hot water, firm beds and fast internet. Brilliant place for a family visit to the snow :)
- John, October 2021Sarah “A lovely warm house, fire was lovely.”

- Ora, July 2021Alex “Such a well set up and comfortable house!”
Everything you need, with a few luxurious touches added. Very comfy beds, and loved the gorgeous spa bath set up outside. Lovely and warm in winter, but would also be fab on the outdoor decks in summer. We've already rebooked
