The property

Experience the best of both worlds at Beech House! Super close to town but backing onto a peaceful river and lush native bush, this might be your new favourite spot in Ohakune! Beech House is a contemporary take on the classic ski chalet, with views up to the top of Mt Ruapehu on a clear day. Year-round this home is sure to please, with a BBQ and multiple stunning outdoor areas to choose from in summer. Then in winter, you'll be comfy and cosy together in the open-plan living area at the end of the day for some delicious holiday meals or to snuggle up in front of a movie. Beech House is the ideal family base in Ohakune, sleeping up to seven guests in three bedrooms. It is well-equipped with everything you'll need for your stay, including WiFi. Wake up in the morning, check out the view, and while everyone is getting ready to head out on an adventure, enjoy your morning coffee, freshly brewed from the Nespresso machine. Just remember to bring your own pods! When you get home from a day on the slopes, light a fire to get warm and unwind or better yet, jump in the outdoor spa bath to tend to those tired muscles. Ohakune is a great year-round destination but really shines in winter with the world-class snowy hot-spots and ski fields nearby. There is easy access to the slopes from Beech House, with Whakapapa 45-minutes away and Turoa just 20-minutes drive. After a day on the slopes, the famous Powderkeg is just a 5-minute drive away for a well-earned beverage. Head into Ohakune village, only 5-minute walk and explore the local shops and cafes. Whether it's a snowy adventure on the horizon or a summer getaway to Central North Island, Beech House has you covered.
