Jenny “We really enjoyed our stay at the Snow Chalet Fairlie.”
There is plenty of space, a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water, the kitchen also works well and was stocked with everything we needed. Very pleasant outdoor space and good views of the mountains. Just a 30 minute drive to Tekapo.
- Jenny, February 2024Camilla “Lovely warm house with a cozy fire, keeping us all toasty.”
Such character and charm, love all the interior, the books, the games and the rugs. Such an amazing ski chalet! The bathroom lets it down however. The showers water pressure is a piddle even tho plenty of hot water. The place would really benefit from another toilet, even if just an outside loo! Be careful of the hot water when the fire is on, as its scalding hot... Little hands could get burnt. All in all it's a brilliant place, we will be back!

Daniel “It's pretty quirky but we loved it.”
- Daniel, July 2023Chris “Great stay at this bach, lovely area, good fire, friendly instructions and comfy beds.”
The only negative is the issue with a few flies. The owners acknowledge a problem. I’m sure they’ll try to sort it out. Don’t let that put you off, we had a fantastic stay.
- Chris, August 2022Kate “What a fantastic, quirky place.”
Loved the decor and the ample cosy blankets. A freezer for ice cubes for the gins would be nice.
