“Thank you for the use of your holiday home.”
Great location down the end of a driveway - an easy short walk to Tata Beach. The house is very spacious and well appointed for the needs of a holidaying family. It was very clean and tidy and the bedrooms are large - plenty of room for more guests if bigger groups were wanting to use the home. The showers had great water pressure and gas heating meant they were lovely and hot. Great location down the end of a driveway - an easy short walk to Tata Beach. The house is very spacious and well appointed for the needs of a holidaying family. It was very clean and tidy and the bedrooms are large - plenty of room for more guests if bigger groups were wanting to use the home. The showers had great water pressure and gas heating meant they were lovely and hot. The outdoors deck, sitting area and BBQ was a great feature too - we didn’t use it because of the weather but we imagine it would be a lovely place to spread out with a group. One of neighbouring houses is quite close by but we tilted the blinds for privacy and that worked fine. The smoke alarm at the top of the staircase went off twice for no apparent reason - we weren’t cooking or heating - so perhaps it needs to be replaced? We were vigilant about wiping surfaces and covering food but the ants still came to visit one night so we traced their trail back to the entrance point (under sink) and sprayed the surface and after that - no ants! Bachcare made a mistake with the listing of the linen - failed to charge us an extra $250 for linen although the listing says it is included and so did the booking confirmation and the final invoice. However we settled on agreeing to bring our own linen & popped into a 2nd hand store to purchase everything necessary for under $20 so that was an easy fix as well. Overall a great family home to stay in and we highly recommend this house to others. Loved it!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
