Easy walking distance to the shops and a lovely little Cafe and also walkable to the beach. And beds were comfortable. BUT the cons: the bach was not very clean and utensils and some facilities were of poor quality a broken airer, only 4pegs, there was no non stick fry pan and the grass had not been mown and was up round our ankles. Surrounding properties had been mown so bad weather not an excuse. Could be a lovely little place with a bit of tidying and upgrading.

The house has everything you need and is well presented, clean and practical. Great for Jess our Labrador being fully fenced. Excellent location. Very enjoyable holiday. Big deck area and nice big barbeque. Also having the option of showering inside or outside is a great idea . With the instant gas hot water it was very handy to come back from the beach and having someone shower inside and outside. I totally recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a short or long term stay. It is the 2nd time we have stayed and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is obvious the owners are lovely people as they not only accommodate your dog but are just very practical. i.e. all utensils you would need to extra blankets, fans for the hot weather etc. The property is well loved and very clean. You also wouldn't get a better location. Couple minute walk to town , the gym, Sushi shop and the local pub for a beer. Great spot Best Regards Simon O'Connor

Very very tidy, very comfortable beds, set up well with heaters, kitchen equipment. Its is obvious the owners of this property are very lovely people as they couldn't have presented this property in a better way. Fully fenced with is great for our labrador. Very close to town, you can walk in to town in a couple of minutes. Instant gas hot water, fully equipped with heaters, board games for the kids, big tv in the lounge, comfortable couches, big deck with a big barbeque. Just a very lovely property. We enjoyed it so much we have booked for 10 days in January.

Fully fenced and the reserve alongside a bonus. Place is comfortable and cosy. Great sun sail outside on deck (although was not so good when it rained). Very well equipped. Walking distance to pretty much everything! Local pub in walking distance and the garden bar is dog friendly (and the bar just inside off the garden bar!). The Secret Garden also very dog friendly. We hope to be back!

Fantastic location central to beach and short walk to friendly operated local shops & business's etc The biggest plus is it's pet friendly & my pups loved it to bit's fully fenced safe space which in turn thankfully gave me space from the kids (pups) lol etc So many other positive's but I figure whoever has the opportunity to stay in the 'Relax Cabin' will no doubt find out for them selves & agree with what we experienced chez Billy

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Welcome to Relax Cabin, a two-bedroom holiday spot that offers a laid back base near the beach. This is a fuss-free option for couples or families to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Enjoy a cosy layout, bright and homely interior, and indoor/outdoor flow out to the sunny deck and section. Make the most of summer hanging out outdoors on the sundeck, around the outdoor dining table under the sunshade. This area is great for BBQs or even an alfresco breakfast before you head out and hit the beach. If the weather has you and your family lounging out indoors enjoying some downtime, there is a TV with Freeview and a DVD player for entertainment. And the well-equipped kitchen will ensure tasty meals and snacks are super easy. Relax Cabin can sleep up to four guests, and is even pet-friendly indoors so your four-legged family members are welcome to join in the fun too on this fully fenced property. Ideally situated next to a reserve to walk the fur-babies or for the kids to fly a kite or ride a bike. You'll also love ess than a 10-minute walk from stunning Waihi Beach, make sure to pack a picnic and sunscreen when leaving home for some fun in the sun. When you get back home from the beach, everyone will love being able to rinse off under the outdoor shower to get rid of the last bits of sand. Within a three-minute walk down the road from Relax Cabin, you'll have access to the local grocery store, a Swiss chocolate shop, a few local eateries and cafés, and the fish'n'chip shop. Sure to tick the holiday boxes, Relax Cabin is ready to host your stay.
