Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

You’ll forget you’re in suburbia while relaxing at this tranquil holiday home on the water's edge. Welcome to The Lakehouse! While the BBQ cooks, relax with friends on the outdoor patio overlooking lush lawns leading down to Lake Taurikura. Pull down the blinds if the sun gets too bright! Take one of two bicycles from the garage and explore the adjacent cycleway, before heading home to harvest from the vegetable and herb garden and enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. This modern, open-plan accommodation sleeps up to four people across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with two queen beds supplied. One bedroom with an ensuite has a view over the lake, and the other bedroom with an adjacent separate toilet and bathroom is at the other end of the house, to ensure privacy. Comprehensive amenities include Wi-Fi and Smart TV, heat pump with air-conditioning, laundry facilities, coffee grinder and plunger, and a selection of board games, books, CD player with selection, and even an electric keyboard! Parking is available in the double garage, as well as off-street and roadside. A leisurely walk on the shared cycleway takes you to local shops including cafes and takeaways. A short drive takes you to the indoor mall The Crossing, which is next to other conveniences such as supermarkets and restaurants. This is a home away from home.
