“As you will know from the many phone calls I made to your care team: we were very unhappy and shocked at how bad this place was.”
The water had a fowl smell and was clearly undrinkable. The place was dirty and not fit for purpose. We were unable to shower or to cook with the water and your response was shamefully inadequate. The owner sent someone round, presumably a plumber but no way of telling. He sniffed the water as his ‘scientific test’ and declared it fit. He said he’d be back to change the filter. We saw absolutely no evidence of this. We had to buy in gallons of water as we were concerned, especially for our daughter with her 5 week old baby. Your care team manager didn’t think it worthwhile coming to visit or discuss with us. I’d like to say you offered us the requested refund and to find us alternative accommodation. But you didn’t offer either.

We have confirmation from the owner, a plumber and our local services team that the water is safe for all guests to drink. We are
sorry to hear about the cleaning issues during your stay. This is not the standard we expect for our guests and will bef ollowing up with the local manager to ensure everything has been remedied and that future guests are not impacted.
