    “The Barn was such a beautiful retreat for our family break.”

    Really comfortable and unique home with great thought made to space and comfort. My favourite place to cosy up and relax with a book was in one of the day beds upstairs with a view out to the grounds and orchard. If peace and tranquility is what you are after, this is the place. The grounds are beautiful to explore and immaculately kept. John and Dallas live up the valley, are incredibly respectful and give you space whilst letting you know that they are there to make your stay 5 star. ...

The grounds are beautiful to explore and immaculately kept. John and Dallas live up the valley, are incredibly respectful and give you space whilst letting you know that they are there to make your stay 5 star. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious with lots of little touches. They were kind enough to give our children some country experiences, feeding and holding the hens, looking for eels and keeping watch while they floated flowers down the waterfall and waded in the stream. We hope we weren't too noisy and will be allowed back!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a washing machine will comfortably accommodate up to four guests' needs here at The Barn, making this an ideal setup for a small family or couple's retreat. Spread across two levels, the bedrooms here at The Barn are private and tucked away so everyone has space to unwind. The Barn is located on a quiet street just a two-minute drive from the Waihi town centre. Grab a bite to eat at one of the great local eateries and browse the shops, or simply pick up a coffee and explore the area! The Barn is within great proximity to cycling trails, hiking, and walking tracks to get stuck into activities. If you need supplies, you'll find a New World supermarket right in the centre of Waihi Town and an array of shops and restaurants. If you fancy exploring the nearby surrounds, the idyllic golden sands of Waihi Beach are just too good to pass up, and only a 15-minute drive from The Barn. As there is an unfenced pond in the back garden, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
