    “We had a lovely stay at Coast Awhile.”

    The apartment was as described, super clean, comfortable beds and quality furnishings. We loved how close the apartment is to town for cafes and restaurants, as well as the beach. Apartment is also very quite and private with lovely outlook into garden. Would love to stay again.

Cool off in the ocean when you’re just a minute walk away from the white sands of Whangamatā Beach here, then back at home rinse off the sand and saltunder the outdoor shower. Imagine being only steps away from the local café's, restaurants and boutique shops while only minutes from this popular local surf beach! Later, why not wander five minutes to find the local supermarket to top up on supplies before you set out for a day of exploring. There's ample parking available at this Whangamatā accommodation, and even enough space to park your large boat. Please note there are two security cameras onsite that continually record. One in front of the house, the other on the left hand side. These are never focused on guests.

Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest.
