“Here's my ten year old's feedback: I enjoyed using the pens and the paper that they provided, there is a very big lawn with lots of rabbits hopping about, there are lots of beds, lots of colourful flowers, a swinging outdoor bench seat undercover from rain, and it's small and cosy.”

Douglas “We love The Blue Diamond.”
It's a real bach, with such interesting features: the 'sun room' with its ship's cabin feel, and view of the lawn and rabbits, which are 10 yr old Sylvia's favourite entertainment, the swing seat, which, even on King's Birthday was not too cold to enjoy late afternoon, the roomy bathroom, a separate building but easy to access via the covered walkway... Lovely pictures hanging on the walls make the place really nice to relax in... Beds are very comfy!

It's a quiet space yet close to the township if you need supplies. Perfect getaway with the beach nearby to enjoy walks with the dog. This home has everything you need (including your pets). I would highly recommend this batch to all viewers. A BIG thank you to the home owners for sharing such a beautiful place.

We liked the 'recycled' look, especially the little room off to the side. The lawn was a hit with our nine year old for just running around on. The rabbits were great too.

Both Bachcare and the property owners were exceptionally helpful and compassionate. The owners allowed flexibility around check in and out times, and upon arrival we discovered they'd kindly left us a bag of cookies and extra cups/plates for family that we'd asked to have over for a couple of hours reflection time - thank you so much. The Bach itself was Kiwi quintessential. Apart from a grater, everything we needed was supplied, including a coffee machine, reading material, board games, and two bikes (we suggest adding these fantastic assets to your listing). We had a most enjoyable couple of hours cycling (and me running) to the beach and along the river stopping off multiple times for a swim. The swinging chair on the deck was the perfect antidote for pondering life. We left Blue Diamond Bach very reluctantly.

Great location and a lovely 25 min walk along the river to the beach. Loved the covered outdoor area, which we used day and night. It was good that it was a covered walkway to the outside bathroom. Only minor feedback to pass on. There was no outside rubbish bin and only a small pedal bin in the kitchen, so nowhere to put rubbish once the kitchen bin was full. There was also no cleaning equipment for the BBQ. A potato peeler would also have been useful. Some outside lighting, maybe solar fairy lights are needed to provide lighting when on the deck. When it rained there was a leak in the bathroom area, which did go over some of our belongings. All minor things, and I’d highly recommend this place to others needing something small that’s dog friendly.
