Very clean. The space heaters in each room were helpful, but it was fairly cold during our winter stay. The provided comfy blankets were appreciated. The couch cushions were a bit saggy, but otherwise everything was in great shape.

Magnificent view of Piha Beach and surroundings! Waking up to an amazing sunset and listening to all the different bird life, late arvo bbq, watching the sunset on piha, is breathtaking! A relaxing, beautiful home offering you a restful getaway!

The property was exactly what you would expect and very nice for a group of friends. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Location was great. The driveway is a bit tricky to navigate so we recommend taking just 1 car. Also bring a fan there is no AC and it gets very hot!

A small child could fall through and be critically hurt. Bbq is ready for a trip to the dump! House was clean and tidy.

Linen
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Seaview, Sun & Surf is the perfect place for your Piha getaway. Enjoy all day sun and superior ocean views from our holiday home. This is a single-level property with flat paved access from the driveway. The house offers open plan living in the lounge, indoor dining and kitchen area, where you’ll have plenty of space to spend time with friends and family. If you’re in Piha to surf, you can check The Bar from your bed (literally), before you grab your board from the surfboard rack in the conservatory, and head to the beach. The Piha General Store and Lion Rock Surf Shop are 1 kilometre away, for great coffee, food, and surf/beachwear. Spend your time relaxing, swimming, and enjoying casual walks on the beach and around the village or, for the more adventurous, exploring trails and waterfalls in the Waitakere Ranges. At the end of the day you’ll be able to return ‘home’ for a barbeque, and the perfect photo opportunity of the sun setting into the Tasman sea beside the iconic Lion Rock. Please note that the no parties policy is strictly enforced at this property. Guests are kindly requested to keep voices and music low (especially outside) between 10pm and 8am so that the neighbours are not disturbed.
Please note the water is not suitable for drinking due to a high mineral content. Until North Piha Water Society resolve treatment of the water, bottled/boiled water should be used for drinking.
