    “Great location and nice big house with comfy beds.”

    Unfortunatly the lack of shade and the very shabby outdoor furniture and grubby couches let the place down a bit. Could do with some more glasses and cups.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

When it's time to visit the many scenic spots nearby, you'll love being just a ten minute walk away from Whale Bay, and even closer to Matapouri Bay! You can also access Poor Knights Island at one of the nearby ports. Planning a tasty bite to eat along the way? About the location

A 10-minute drive from Tutukaka or a 2 hour 25 minute drive from Auckland and you'll find yourself in the marine paradise that is Matapouri. Matapouri is one of those idyllic spots, where every corner you turn you'll find yourself in awe as you stumble upon another azure blue cove lined with Pohutukawa or golden dunes. There's much to explore with Whale Bay nearby being accessed via a 15 minute bush walk, and of course the legendary mermaid pools a large natural set of rock pools set against the ocean perfect for swimming in at low tide.
