“House was filthy on arrival the bedding had dog hairs and human hairs on the supposedly clean sheets.”

We booked for four adults and two children and one of the kids bunk bed wasn't made up the work tops were full of greas it went on and on.

“Stunning view, great proximity to town, and lovely array of board games at this property, however we found it to be quite cold and damp, we ran out of hot water 2 days running and the blind in the bedroom had black mould on it so there is a bit of room for improvement.”

There are heaters supplied in the bedrooms and a heat pump for the living area.We expect you to use those if you feel the need.It is winter time!. There are two large gas bottles.Not sure how you could have run out in a weekend?. There is a manager available for any queries. Please ask them for help if you have anything you can't understand. “The house needs a really good clean.”

The kitchen smelt like fat, the oven was extremely dirty and under mirowave was fifthly. The kitchen needs a seriously good scrub and then it will be better. View was amazing and close to town.

View was wonderful and home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was great to have a dog friendly home for our wee dog too. It isn't fenced, but worked well for our dog.

“Tiro Treasure has glorious views over Akaroa.”

Although the living dining areas are a little tired, the bathrooms are freshly renovated and the linen was also of a high quality. The main bedroom is very comfortable with big picture windows giving a view over the water. The layout would suit two couple, however the third bedroom is quite cramped. Both the driveway and steps up to the house are quite steep. Communication with the manager was excellent.

The only drawback is the size of the 3rd bedroom with double bunk/single above, this is the only thing that fits in the room!! Would have been good to know this prior to renting but only a small hiccup in the scheme of things

“This house was very clean and warm.”

Great showers. Fabulous view from the kitchen/dining area, and the deck is lovely. The room with the bunks is really small though, we had our 3 kids staying in there but it was hard to fit their bags. It’s an easy walk into Akaroa as long as you are ok with hill walking. We had a great stay.

Having the small dogs able to be with us was a huge bonus. There are multiple hill walks close by and it is an easy stroll to Akaroa village with its cafes and restuarants on the waterfront. We will definitely stay again.

“This was a great Bach for bringing the family back together for a long weekend.”

The two bathrooms and separate toilets allows for great flexibility for a house full of adults. The instantaneous hot water is wonderful with 7 adults taking showers! There is lots of deck space with seating and a good BBQ. The kitchen is well equipped allowing for easy self-catering. Lastly, the view is amazing and the morning and evening bird song is lovely. Our family highly recommend this bach.

The seamless outdoor flow makes this a perfect option for entertaining. Bedroom 1 at this Akaroa accommodation is fitted with a super king, bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and bedroom 3 is fitted with a double bunk with a single on top - ideal for families and couples! There are 2 bathrooms to complete your home away from home. Everything you need is on hand for a refreshing break away - take time out and watch the boats come and go from the harbour, or stroll into town for a great selection of shopping and dining options. There is plenty of picturesque scenery to admire on foot, or take a scenic cruise around the harbour... Tiro Treasure awaits!

Up to two pets are allowed inside at this property. Please note that the property is not fenced, so guests would need to keep an eye on their furry friends during their stay. There is a kennel on site that is suitable for small or medium size dogs only.
