The view from the deck was beautiful and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee and evening meal with sunset. Some bird song/life could also be heard/seen. The beds were comfortable and there are two large bathrooms with soap/body wash. The house has plenty of space to accommodate a large family and has all the amenities you’d need. Some would say the decor is a little dated but I found this added a comfort and homeliness to the property. The kitchen was fantastic and provided everything needed to make any meal for many people. The puzzles and games kept the kids entertained. This property is a little out Paihia on a windy road but you are rewarded with a secluded and peaceful place. Only one small recommendation is the bin instructions could be made a little clearer. Thank you for a lovely stay

There's six of us, more than enough space for everyone. A bit tricky to find the house as we turn into the wrong road the first time and second time at night. But no problem once you remember it. Only few minutes to Paihia. We all enjoyed our stay. A big thank you to the owner and Bachcare for a great holiday.

Beautiful house, well equipped, quiet location, lots of rooms, two clean bathrooms, large deck with astonishing view. I would definitely recommend to stay there with children.

Loved this 'no fuss' approach from this Property Manager. Messaging was timely and up to date. Recommend a stay. Our favourite was the deck, the smell of nature each night and the views across the valley to the waters. Thank you Bachcare - we'll be back

As you might expect in such a remote location, the gravel access to the paved driveway was indeed difficult to navigate - steep and with large gutters running through the middle, but we managed. The ants also came to visit us - in the dishwasher and master toilet, perhaps request a pest spray before your arrival. BBQ was a tiny bit rusty and the burners were covered in grease, so we didn't use it. Otherwise, place was tidy, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and games and kitchen utensils. And the Bachcare staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Highly recommend them.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Positioned just a few minutes from Opua township, this light, well equipped holiday home has views to die for, but are far better experienced in person. The 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom open plan holiday home is the perfect setup for families or friends alike. Natural light floods all areas of the house and the overhanging deck is perfect for any occasion. Picture yourself sitting on the gorgeous deck enjoying a cold drink, surrounded by bush, looking out towards the ocean. With the beach just minutes away you're never far away from a spot to cool off and relax. Each of the four bedrooms are modern, spacious and light. You're also only a 10 minute drive from Paihia and the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds. As well as being just minutes from the Opua car ferry and a 10 minute drive into the famed Russell township.
