Michael “Hi. Property is beautiful but needing maintenance.”
The master suite toilet quit our first night and there were 6 adults for one toilet. It was fixed late the next day. Then the power went out in the kitchen the morning we left. Unable to find the circuit breakers so could not use the kitchen that morning. Asked for some financial reimbursement and the owner declined. Would not recommend. Also, the wall lamp in master bed falling off the wall. A lot of little things like that. Place needs some attention. I doubt you will share my feedback...

Rhonda “We had a great stay.”
This house is beautiful and in a great location. Fully fenced for our dog and grandkids with a lovely deck out the back that we could sit and watch them all run around. Well-stocked kitchen, large dining table and three good size bedrooms. Lounge is on the small side but we were outside lots so was ok. Bedroom upstairs only has a small.bed but again, was fine for us. Really impressed to find such a good quality place which was dog friendly.
- Rhonda, December 2023Clark “Floors were all sticky from the last attempt at cleaning after the last guests cup week party.”
No WIFI. I asked twice for a repair/maintenance on that and was ignored. The drain in the bathroom sink is blocked. The hot water system is not up to short term letting standards/requirements. I have e-mailed you separately about all of this already, with no response.
- Clark, November 2023Michael “We were just 4 guys on a golf weekend so we just needed beds and 4 coffee cups really.”
It was perfect for us. The TV is not working properly there is possibly a aerial connection issue. The picture is constantly breaking up. Also chromecast can not be found or connected to. Loved the house. Perfect for us. Great location.
- Michael, October 2023Deborah and Glen “The house is indeed a nice villa, with a well-kept garden and special, very sunny, master bedroom.”
Loved the location, with a brisk walk through the park to the city. The beds were really comfortable, apart from the upstairs room. We were expecting a bigger bed up there based on the photo, and were disappointed with the general neglect of that room especially. The skylight really needs to be fixed. Our other disappointment was the poorly equipped kitchen, with cheap pots, no mixing bowls and barely any knives. It was hard to make dinner with just a bread knife and two bent paring knives! The location and period features of the property were great, and the overall quality of the stay could be improved with a few simple purchases and maintenance projects.
- Deborah and Glen, April 2023Hi Deborah and Glen. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay here at Fendalton Villa, with its excellent location to town. Thank you for your feedback on the facilities at this property that would have made your stay more comfortable. Your comments have been shared with the property owner, who has informed us that the skylight has been fixed and that more crockery and cutlery will be organised. Bachcare
Vicki “Stand Lights in lounge didn’t work, second day , shower was a bit cool .”
- Vicki, March 2023Aaron “A great place for the family to stay.”
Close to the city, comfortable, fairly well appointed. Very nice and relaxing grounds. A door sticks, one of the bathrooms lacks an extractor fan, and the kitchen taps are a bit idiosyncratic, but the kids loved it and we would definitely stay again if the chance arises.
- Aaron, December 2022Doug “Great property, facilities, and central to ammenities.”
However there are a couple of issues the owner should know about so if you could get them to call me on 0210489634 - regarding a leaky kettle, spouting and a window issue. It’s easier to discuss these over the phone rather than email so pass my details on please
- Doug, July 2022Kirstyn “Gorgeous character home that made us feel right at home while away!”
We will definitely be back again. Thanks very much.
- Kirstyn, July 2022Tim “Lovely warm and cosy character filled house, spacious bedrooms, very clean, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms.”
Very small lounge though, not an ideal venue for large groups that want to spend a lot of time together at home.
- Tim, June 2022Tracy & Matthew “Great stay for families or two couples with children.”
Handy Fendalton location, close to airport, hospital, CBD, mall shopping and supermarkets. Two bathrooms and great kitchen. Comfortable stay, would recommend and would stay again. Thank you!
- Tracy & Matthew, February 2022Glenys “We rented the house as our family base for our daughters wedding.”
The house was perfect for this, the main bedroom with ensuite had plenty of space for the bridesmaids and her to have make up and hair done. The house and garden provided good photo ops and we could have friends over for meals. Lounge is a little small and TV not properly tuned, but overall an excellent experience for a larger group.
