Anita “Lovely setting, close to little shop and facilities were good but it requires maintenance.”
Consider wi-fi, there is a lot to do in Coromandel and without an internet connection it is difficult to purchase tickets etc.

John “Went to use the roasting dish for the oven and it was not clean .”
Cobwebs everywhere. Pubic hair on the side table in the main bedroom . The furniture is uncomfortable. Not much care in this bach . Black Mould above the bath and only one smoke detector in the house which is upstairs. Kettle doesn’t close properly . Pretty sad state of affairs really .
- John, January 2023At Bachcare we take cleaning seriously and have guidelines in place to maintain our high standard. It's unfortunate that this was not what you experienced and we will follow up with our team to improve this. Bachcare
Kannon-rose “Beautiful true kiwi batch with everything in pristine condition.”
A real treat, I would highly recommend this place to all. Better than expected the photos don’t do this place justice it’s a true gem and we loved how every is 70s themed, it brought back a lot of childhood memories very nostalgic setting. I would rate our stay 10/10
- Kannon-rose, December 2022Jennifer “Great location and space.”
I loved the porch in the morning. The restaurant across the street was divine.
- Jennifer, December 2022Delphine “We loved staying at the cottage, it is a gorgeous little bach!”
Everything was lovely, the only negative points were: * We couldn't work out how to use the cooktop! Either it was broken, or we didn't figure it out... There were no instructions anywhere. * The TV is really difficult to work out! We gave up after a few attempts. * Some 'touristy' brochures or personal notes would be great for walks or activities in the area (Coromandel). Everything else was delightful and we will gladly come back :)
- Delphine, November 2022Dorisel “Great Bach in an amazing location.”
We had such a great time. Definitely would come back. Loved the authenticity of the Bach.
- Dorisel, October 2022Lydie “We absolutely loved our stay!”
Cute little cottage is definitely the right name for it ! The cottage is lovely, warm, clean everywhere, and the location is very practical , not far from all points of interest in the area. I wish we could stay longer , I would go back anytime
- Lydie, June 2022Walter “Great place for a family holiday & so handy to all the shops etc.”
- Walter, March 2021Rosie “Gorgeous cottage with everything you could need for a family holiday.”
Seconds from the shops, and minutes from the beach. For those with small children, the only drawbacks are the lack of fence, and extremely light curtains - tough to get kids to sleep!
- Rosie, January 2021fabien “Perfect location, cute little cottage, great for a family weekend away”
- fabien, October 2020Hugo “Quintessential Bach - beautiful to keep it just so.”

- Chey, December 2019Felicity “Lovely little bach in the perfect location.”
Just across from the beach and a few minutes drive from the main Coromandel Peninsula attractions, but even on Easter weekend it was quiet and uncrowded. The house is a neat 60s/70s cottage with everything needed (but no dishwasher if that's an issue for you). Some great games, books and dvds for kids. The garden, fruit trees and verandah were especially lovely. We wish we'd had longer to enjoy it all!
