Verena “Wiring and plugs not good blew a fuse using heater, fridge and microwave at the same time and could not access to fix.”
No extra blankets, no cushions, no coffee tables no floor mats, no towel rails or hanging for clothes anywhere. Bedroom lamps useless unless you want to sleep with a plug in the bed. No side table in main bedroom just a crate and we had to use achopping board as a top. No instructions anywhere. Was surface clean only. Disappointing for such an amazing spot. T L C REQUIRED

Paul “Ring's Beach is a lovely, restful place.”
The beach is pristine, lots of great walks, and both sunrise and sunset are stunning - have to be seen to be appreciated. The property is comfortable and well-equipped and less than 100 metres from the water's edge. Spent 12 days there, and it was just what we needed. Pooch appreciated being allowed to tag along too.

We loved the beach across the road and spent so much time walking and seeing the sites. The bach was just enough for what we needed, nice and quiet, lovely neighbours and in the perfect location. We'd love to visit again someday

Quiet, relaxed and pleasant place to stay. Relatively basic but with all the facilities including washing machine, clothesline and comfy beds and furniture. Outdoor hose great to rinse off after beach. Although reasonably clean in general - I didn't enjoy having to sweep the whole place on arrival. The floor was crunchy with sand including the couch - a sandy dog? Main problem was no key for locked windows and it was v hot! Hopeless support from Bachcare - 24 hrs after reporting the need for window-lock key and I missed a return call which stated the key was on keyring. Which it obviously wasn't or I wouldn't have been calling. My return calls to Bachcare and message went unanswered so had to manage without being able to open over half the windows. So I would be very concerned if something serious needed attention - very poor support. Don't lock yourself out!

Jeff “Stayed here many times before and enjoyed it.”
Unfortunately the day before our Daughter tested positive for Covid and I slipped a disc in my lower back. We never asked for a refund just to change the dates to another time which suited the property owner and happy to pay any extra. This was denied via a blunt email and when we responded back to question why , haven’t received any correspondence at all. We never went and can’t understand why and what the problem would have been to move the dates. Won’t be using the bach again or Bachcare’s services. Highly disappointed.

Linen
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Beachfront Bach is a basic 2 bedroom Rings Beach bach. With just the road between you and the beach, this is an ideal location for your next beach getaway! This traditional Rings Beach bach has an open plan living area, with glass sliding doors that open out onto the deck and the large front lawn. There are 2 bedrooms in this Rings Beach accommodation. Both of the bedrooms are fitted with a queen sized bed. The small bathroom and laundry is located off the kitchen. The outdoor area at this Rings Beach bach features great front decking - perfect for soaking up the sun and views! There is also a fish filleting table available for your use. There is a garage to the side of the house for storage, and plenty of space on the lawn for your boat or cars. For peace, quiet, simple living and beautiful views... Get away to this traditional Kiwi bach!
As the property has unfenced access to the beach, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
Please note that this is a very basic Kiwi bach.
Pets are allowed indoors, however please note that pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture.
Caution is required on Bluff Road when towing boats over 7 metres in length.
Access to Rings Beach is currently only via Bluff Road Kuaotunu as the Matarangi access is blocked off due to dangerous overhanging rocks.
