“Amazing location and an awesome house with lots of space and outdoor areas.”

The place could do with a refresh and some maintenance as it's looking dated and rundown in places. Most folding windows stiff to open, downstairs bathroom ok but very dated and very low water pressure in shower. WiFi password in booklet needs updating as it doesn't work. Kitchen is well equipped and property is clean. Just needs some TLC to restore its fabulousness!

“When we arrived, there was garbage (food waste bucket) in the kitchen.”

It had been there a while and was infested with bugs and smelled really bad. That made the house smell bad. I had to clean out the trash bucket, wash it and air out the house. That was not a good way to start our stay. Please make sure the cleaning staff checked the trash receptacles and takes out the trash.

“Overall this property, the space and the views were absolutely amazing.”

We stayed here for our wedding accommodation and the views and space was just perfect for us getting ready! We loved everything about this house. The property does need some TLC though with some maintenance being done on some broken items and perhaps a deep clean. Beds are comfy as, shower was great (besides the broken door) and had all the amenities you needed for a holiday. Bachcares communication wasn't very great, and pretty frustrating when trying to get hold of the property manager (being on hold to bachcare for two hours) but once we finally managed to get hold of the property manager Anna, she was so nice and helpful with everything we needed. Thank you Anna. We would love to stay back here again sometime in the future!

“House was amazing.”

. we were down for four days for our sons wedding and while the grooms party stayed across the road, they got dressed at Seashells and the photos will be stunning it was such a lovely day. The house is so well appointed and equipped and the views to die for. Pulling the blinds early, and using the heat-pumps kept it warm and snug.

Lots of space and entertaining area. The sea view was a bonus and we loved the selection of outdoor areas where we could hide from the sun when the day got hot. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. Its location to the beach, local shops and restaurant was perfect. Thank you we will be back

“Beautiful place!”

Great for big groups and right next to Waihi Beach. Cleanliness of the house could’ve been better and some house items were already broken upon arrival. Apart from that, I recommend this place. Great holiday house. You wake up and fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing. Beautiful

The weather wasn’t the best but with all the different outdoor setting areas we were able to sit out of the wind. Right across the road from the Flat White Cafe which was a nice spot for dinner. Would recommend and would love to return.

This is a well-equipped 4-bedroom holiday home with more than the essentials on hand from the WiFi and Smart TV, air-conditioning and heat pump for year-round comfort and 3 sundecks to choose from to lock in all-day sun. Fire up the BBQ and enjoy al-fresco meals looking out to the water! There's plenty of room for the family with the house spread over 2 floors and it has a second lounge and kitchen. Everything you require for a comfortable stay is on hand, with ample room to unwind and take in the serene beach setting... Stay in and chill out, enjoy strolls along the beach, or head into town within easy walking distance. Make your way to Waihi Beach and settle in at Sea Shells By The Shaw!

All guests should take care when using the internal stairs as although they have a handrail, they do not have a barrier to prevent falls.
