    “Great kiwi Bach with everything we needed.”

    Must say the audio/TV system is a little bit tricky to understand for those that aren't so technically advanced but we got there in the end!. Very happy with the property. Only downer for us was the extra $200 bachcare added on after sending us the final price but that has no reflection on the property or the owner for us - Just disappointed in Bachcare as this is the first time its happened over years of bookings. We were told one thing, and another happened so a bit gutted really. Great ...

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

There's nothing like an escape to a classic kiwi bach, and you can't go wrong with Pipi Palace! A traditional kiwi holiday home located only 800 metres from both the surf beach and the estuary at the southern end of Whangamata, Pipi Palace is in a sweet spot. Just far enough away for some peace and quiet, and close enough to enjoy everything Whangamata has to offer. The large front deck offers breakfast with the rising sun (for the early birds) or a place to just relax and soak up the rays, and the spacious deck at the rear allows one to relax after a hard day at the beach and unwind as you watch the sunset over the Coromandel ranges or cooking up the catch of the day on the BBQ. Staying in for the evening? A 42" widescreen TV with DVD Player, plus Freeview reception fits the bill, WiFi is on hand to keep you connected or choose from a range of board games to play or a substantial library of books to read. Beautiful spring water is on tap courtesy of the on-site bore and some holiday must-haves including kayaks to take to the beach or estuary and an outdoor shower to help wash off the day at the beach. With plenty of room for parking, be sure to bring the boat and get out on the water to catch something fresh for dinner then head home and make use of the fish-filleting bench on-site. In addition to sleeping six comfortably in the main house in three bedrooms, the sleepout has room for another two guests with a set of single bunk beds. This is a great spot for the whole family and we mean it, you can bring the family pet too! Ready for a rejuvenating break this trip? Welcome to Pipi Palace!

About the location

Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest.
