Cath “We just loved the old school traditional beach bach.”
The location was perfect. It had everything we needed. We had with us a small dog and had to escape proof a couple of spots along the fence line but overall very dog friendly.

This place has so much heart, and it felt like staying at a happy family home. Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed playing the games in the evening, and our dog loved having a big fully-fenced yard to play in. The beach is easily accessible across the road, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The traditional bach feel makes this place a treasure. I hope you never change it!

Perfect for dogs as fully fenced. We enjoyed our much needed rest and would have liked to have stayed longer.

Beautifully maintained - the added joy of the heat pump to keep us toasty while a storm battered the outside. It was a great escape for our family - plus the added bonus of our furry friend being able to come, meant it was very relaxing. The location is fantastic - only a minute to get to the beach and then a good walk in either direction. We’ll definitely be back to stay!!

Thank you so much, this place has the special Waikanae bach charm I remember from when we use to stay in Waikanae Beach as a child. Please keep it going as a a holiday rental forever haha I will be booking for next Summer :)

Linen
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Very tidy, comfortable, and even a touch of retro - sitting 1-block down from the beachfront The Beach House is ideal for a family wanting to spend some time away by the beach. This 3-bedroom holiday home comes with all the essentials! Relax and enjoy Unlimited Wi-Fi, a sundeck for outdoor dining, air conditioning to stay comfortable during the hot summer days, and of course the must-have BBQ. With a unique green tone to the home and a cosy furnished interior, you will feel completely at ease. 2-minutes walk from the beach, take a stroll down and spend your day out under the sun, go for a swim or surf or head out for a walk, and admire the local nature. When you need a coffee or cake fix, the local cafes are just a short walk away as well. To finish your day off, head home and prepare some dinner on the BBQ over a glass of wine.
