“I should have been warned by the reviews.”
...but the artwork and presentation was so appealing...however it did not make up for all the myriad of inconveniences. I should have taken a potty for the outhouse bedroom, the shower was tiny and one bumped oneself constantly, the jug was temperamental, there were no instructions for how to use the induction top, nor how to access the and work the TV or netflicks, and Bachcare did not bother to get back to us about how the induction top worked.

Carmel “We loved our stay.”
You bach/home is gorgeous - the style of the property, simple, clean and inspiring. Our 5 yo daughter lay on the sofa with arms behind her head and said "She would like to buy a property like this"! It was the perfect location for our plans. Easy arrival and departure. Had all we needed. One feedback, as the nights were cold, is having the availability of some warmer bedding.

However the entrance to the bathroom is through the master bathroom and causes a major inconvenience. It is mentioned on the advertisement but the photos are a little misleading and it’s hard to view how inconvenient it’s going to be. The place has 2 bedrooms but only including the sleep out bedroom. Also it is on tank water, so every time, some uses the bathroom or kitchen, a pump activates in the garage & is quite loud in the sleep out. Due to bathroom lay out, would not rent again. Maybe fine if you able to children sleep out, but not great for over 2 adults

I feel like the price for the accommodation is quite high considering it doesn't even include sheets or towels if you're paying over $250 a night you'd expect sheets

Access was easy and well comminicated within plenty if time of arrival. Beds were comfortable and amenities good. Modern and warm. Things to be aware of is the bathroom access is only through the main bedroom which could be an issue depending on who's staying. Also the second bedroom is a sleepout that is behind the garage and not attached to the house so just something to consider if that will suit your requirements. Lovely and quiet neighbourhood, nice outlook over semi rural properties. 10min walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Modern, clean and warm. Minutes from the beach and great dining options for those wanting to eat out. We only travelled the short distance from Wellington, but it felt like we were far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend this sweet retreat.

Beds were super comfortable, heat pump was nice as the weather was chilly the first night. We enjoyed the games and magazines to read. We relaxed and had the beach a 5 min drive away. Great communication with bachcare manager. We would totally return

Super clean, beautifully set up, surrounded by a sunny deck, very well located, quiet and private. Beds and sofas are extremely comfortable! Want to come back in summer to enjoy the outdoor area a bit more!
