The property itself is comfortable and gives off a very relaxed, welcoming vibe. It was a wonderful place to stay for our group of 9 - 4 adults, 5 kids) with plenty of space and the all important wi-fi!

Suited our extended family of 6 adults and 3 children very well. Room to spread out room to enjoy that spectacular sunset too out on the muli-level deck space. We'll be back - cheers :)

It is right on the lakeside with a walkway going right past, and bicycles that we used to cycle along the lakefront. The views of the lake and mountains are fabulous. It was early winter when we stayed and we appreciated being able to light the fire. With televisions in two rooms we were able to have the children entertained downstairs while the adults had space upstairs to themselves. It is close to the main road, which is noisy, but didn't impact us as it is not noticeable in the living areas.

A very warm, homely house with stunning views of the lake, and mountains. Large living space with a superb fire for those chilly evenings, and also large communal dinning table to share a meal with family, and then cards or games afterwards. Apart from the fire, the property has great heating via heat pumps. A few reviews have stated the road noise is a drawback. Certainly is it a small distraction, and we stayed in the first floor bedroom which was certainly noisier than the bedrooms downstairs, so if you are a very light sleeper, pick another room, or wear ear plugs. The noise is an inconvenience, but not a deal breaker. Overall the property was just what we were after. Its Lakeside, stunning views, plenty of room, both outside and inside, its warm, and had comphy beds, and bathrooms were more than adequate.

Easy distance to town if you need any supplies. Bunk room for kids is great and gives everyone their own space. We will be booking again!

Beautiful sunset views. Bikes and kayaks were handy. A pleasant bike ride to Wharewaka Point. Highway sounds are muffled by trees so not an issue for us. Great to relax on the various deck areas with great lake view.

It was nice to be able to leave my boat on the beach and keep an eye on it while we had lunch. We liked the expansive views from the kitchen, lounge and deck, and there was plenty of room for our group of two families. The large dining table was appreciated. We also enjoyed the use of the bicycles and kayaks - a definite bonus.

We loved our time here. Every practical consideration taken into account. Views were stunning, location so convenient and the bikes and kayaks were such a bonus which absolutely made our stay. Didn’t even need the wifi as we were outside most of the time! We’ll definitely be back.
